I am really excised for this game I loved Heavy Rain and I have been following the trailers and vids for Beyond 2 Souls for ages now and I really want this game!

    I've mentioned it in whatever since last E3.
     But since its not long till its out I thought it warrented a thread. Especially since TWD is influenced by Heavy Rain there will probably be a lot of fans on the forum who would like this game.

    OK then.

    You just don't have the best track record when it comes to new threads, 'yknow? Boy Who Cried Wolf and all that. Just wanted to make sure this one was on the up and up.

    As for the game... I wasn't a big fan of Heavy Rain, so I'll reserve judgement on this one until we start getting more hands-on feedback. But it certainly looks impressive, I'll give 'em that.

    Ellen Paige and Willem Dafoe are in this so its an instant buy.

    Just 'cause the new consoles probably won't allow it doesn't mean the old consoles (and their games) will magically disappear. Especially since the new ones won't be backwards compatible.

    So we've got a good few years of rentals left. :)

    That's true. Granted it was ungodly popular, but the PS2 even still had new games(triple A) being published up til two years after the PS3 debuted.

    I'm very much looking forward to this (as I would for any game made by David Cage). It doesn't bother me in the least that it's going to be a 10 hour long game. It's like the old saying goes; "length isn't everything".

    I love 'Portal' and that isn't a long game. Heck, I played the shit out of the Megadrive version of 'The Terminator' back in the day (I could complete it in 15 minutes, so I ended up playing it through to completion once a day for around a year). 'Parappa the Rapper' is a very short game but that doesn't stop me busting it out and having a blast every time my friends come 'round to my place.

    Seeming as 'Beyond 2 Souls' is a story based game, I wouldn't want it to be any longer than the narrative dictates. Tacking another 20 hours of unnecessary waffle on to the experience isn't going to make it a better game; in fact, quite the opposite.

    I'll never understand people who moan about the length of games. When it comes to story based games, it's like saying "The Lion King was an utter disappointment purely because it was only an hour and twenty minutes long. That shit should have been like three hours long." Ridiculous.

    This is the game I'm most excited for right now. To me Heavy Rain was absolute masterpiece, much better than TWD and I absolutely love TWD, but the gameplay was much stronger than TWD's and even as a super big fan of TWD I can't deny that.
    So this game... it looks familiar, yet fresh... it is gonna be AMAZING. Not to mention that I feel like Ellen Page is in fact in this game, not just the animations of her like 99% of the other games with recognizable characters.
