Question about Kenny

edited May 2013 in The Walking Dead
Hi guys I am playing the game through a second time now that I got the retail edition as well (I kept dreaming about the retail version since I downloaded and played the game in autumn)and I was wondering...did they fix or change the fact that Kenny is against you after episode 2 if you try to save Larry?Because I remember some people saying that no matter how much you side with him after episode 2,if you didn't help him kill Larry he will always hate you or at least not like you.

So...is that still valid or?

I don't see a reason why it would(or should) be changed. Not siding with Kenny in the meat locker is a major blow to him, he basically sees it as attempted murder on his family. Irrational, maybe but that's how his mind works. It's not a glitch, it's just Kenny hating you for putting his family in danger.

Regardless, i don't think anything regarding that decision has changed in the retail version, and any changes like that are unlikely.

It really does affect Kenny's opinion on you too much. I mean, I go around saving his family every fucking five minutes because he's too much of a shithead to protect them himself, but when I refuse to kill someone for him he treats me like I'm fucking Lucifer or something. The worst is how he'd literally leave me to die twice over it and later would abandon Clementine due to the grudge, someone who had nothing to do with it.

It's infuriating and really does damper Kenny's character by a substantial amount.

    Yup, what CarScar said.

Except that it's all part of Kenny's character, he's a selfish individual who wants his way all the time, and he likely to hold grudges if anyone says the dreaded word 'no' to him. So as long as he and his family is looked after, he's satisfied, and anyone who doesn't live up to his expectations is a threat.

At least, that's how I percieved him when I played my game.

Yeah he really does act like a jerk!I remember the first time I played the game to the end he was nagging all the time.Him and his family all the time!I mean he kills a man in cold blood and then he nags about you not helping him! It's the second time I play the game fully and I can't let him to that to Larry and Lily.
