Your zombie apocalypse supplies!!!

With games like The Walking Dead adventure game and others coming soon like Dead State,Day Z standalone version,State of Decay etc.

I was curious about....our survival equipment and gear for a fiction zombie apocalypse.Show me your canned foods!Show me your meals and your drinks supplies!

Imagine that the zombie apocalypse is today or tomorrow or soon...what do you have in your house that would make you survive for...a certain amount of time or more?

What do you have before you have to scavange supplies like Lee and Kenny?

    I don't have a lot of weapons to protect myself against zombies, except for a bat and tools. I'd probably go loot a gun shop if the sales clerk has turned into a zombie himself (or ask for a gun nicely if he is still there.) Now about food, I would just do what any reasonable person would do in a zombie apocalypse and just go to Walmart and buy all teh foodz.

    i have a few machetes, axes and knives, and a decent amount of camping supplies (including MOD rations) and lots of hand tools including a sledgehammer i would use to destroy the stairs in my house.

    this is a knife and sheath i made myself for the apocalypse :) (including a flint striker a knife sharpener and parachute cord)

    Guys guys guys! Photos! Photos of your food and drinks/water supplies!Canned food and everything! Weapons optional! (real,airsoft even toy guns for fun :P)

    I won't need any food supplies, only weapons made from iron. I know from a dream I once had that zombified bodies show allergic reactions to metallic iron, so I could always easily destroy any zombie and use its body as a food source.

    I notice your survival kit is conspicuously missing fresh water. You might want to fix that because I've heard it's kinda important.

    6 bottles of coke, several carrier bags of junk food/sweets, a couple of pellet guns and a wall of cynicism.

    But seriously, zombies are physically impossible and we're all worrying about nothing.

    Well, see, a zombie kit is useful for more mundane epidemics as well. That is why the CDC has a zombie emergency preparedness page on their website.

    looting will be my survival supply, you would need to be one of those insane survivalists with a bunker full of canned foods to actually own what you need to survive more than a month or two, and by the way they are they guys that will be killed first because they have what everybody wants

    i have one of those straws like fillers that can purify water and also you couldn't store enough to last very long anyway

    Yes, but see, water is the first thing that goes. You should have some on you so that you can last enough to find a good source of water so you can purify it.

    i have some bottled water in my house but there are lots of small rivers and reservoirs near where i live and then of course there is the sea and you can easily distil water from salt water and as i said looting would be my main form of supplies

    This is more of a survival thing, but:
    • pocket knife
    • hori hori
    • parachute cord
    • wildcrafting books specific to where I live
    • small tarp
    • linens
    • small cast iron skillet
    • mess kit
    • tea kettle
    • flint and steel
    • flashlight
    • general first aid
    • cheese cloth
    • tent and sleeping bags
    • a man who grew up in rural alaska

    I'm hoping to get a solar usb charger because I really like camping and all that.

    I don't know in a Zombie Invasion all they want to do is eat your brains...
    I mean it isn't unreasonable no one is going to eat your eyes...
    We would be at an impasse here but maybe we can compromise...

    I have pepper and salt, so that I at least taste good when zombies are going to eat my brain.
