Are you guys happy in the idea of 400 Days DLC?
I mean the idea of combining 5 short stories in a single episode..
And probably some Easter eggs from the Season 1..

    Sure, it looks interesting alright.
And I personally think, they'll make something good in any case, so...
I'll be definitely buying it, ASAP.

What the most interesting aspect to me is, that at least it seems,
like Clem won't be in this dlc, and that is a cool thing imo.
She is my most favourite character (ever), but I'd just love to play without her
for at least one single episode, and do the stuff I never did, because
her innocent eyes were watching... everything... all the time.
Kill people for revenge reason for instance.

Yes, some people will die because a little girl did not stop me, it's just going to show how important Clementine really was when we start killing left and right.

    Yeahh..
    Agree with u..
Even though I love to see Clementine again,
I don't think we need to get her really involved in the story this time..
Some story works best when you get the previous story untouched for the second time..
I don't want the great experience with Clementine get ruined..
    It's just too special..
    :D

I'll check it out when it comes up. All in all, I'm not completely happy for a DLC episode. I'd have rather played season 2 when it came out.

If it encounters some seosen 1 moments it will be nice .

But this isn't affecting the quality or timing of Season 2 from what we know

Well, we saw Boyd and Clive, two members of Vernon's Cancer Posse, so it at least has that small link to the rest of Season 1. Personally, I'm hoping that they'll be able to clear up some things from Season 1 that are still ambiguous. Stuff like "Where are Christa and Omid?" "Who are those people on the hill?" "Did Kenny actually survive?" Since we saw Boyd and Clive, we'll at least learn what happened to Vernon and the others of his group (hopefully).

Where do you see that Clem won't be in the DLC please?

I think the idea itself is good but 400 days is just too much for me. How are they going to introduce Clementine in this episode ? She can't be meet by the survivors at day 400, it's not possible : it has to be done before...

So yeah i'm kinda disappointed but let's see how this will turn...

I can confirm this is the case. :)

Sure! I like the idea of "side characters" that could possibly effect season 2.

There has never been doubt about, Kenny :D :p He is d.e.a.d :D

I'm beyond happy. The whole concept of this DLC is even better than I expected. I'm so pumped to see how all of these new characters cross paths with each other, and how they relate to Seasons 1 and 2. I'm also super excited that it's released next month.

Also, seeing as how this episode will be broken up into 5 distinct chapters, I'm very exited about the episode's replay value. It looks like something that I will have fun with, playing the chapters in different orders and seeing how they change the other chapters.

Long story short: I think 400 Days is going to kick ass.

D.E.A.D - Definitely, Empirically Alive Dammit!

I'm excited about getting another episode. Sounds pretty awesome. I'm just concerned about how decayed the undead are on what is suppose to be Day Two.

I thought it was pretty obvious that Telltale deliberately left the door open for him to have survived. There are tons of scenarios in which he escaped the mass of zombies. Or have I missed Telltale's confirmation that he is, in fact, dead?

    Haha true that!

kenny is as dead a lillly.

anyway i generally don't like the idea of DLC because it is usually just a way of selling an incomplete game and calling the complete game "the ultimate pack" or whatever, but this isn't like that so I'm happy about it

You're right, there really never has been any doubt. Although, I noticed that you misspelled the word "ALIVE" at the end of your sentence. It's ok, we all make mistakes.

It's not what I expected, but I still look forward to it. I was hoping for a DLC that introduces Mark properly and gives us more of a chance to see the season 1 cast interact.

I see what you did there... *fist bump*

Well, Telltale, if you can answer one question, has recording for characters on season 2 started? I'm interested to know that much :D

I love the idea for this dlc, very excited, not sure how in depth it will be, I would think that they would have to skip alot of parts in each story, like day 1, 2, 30, 44.... that sort of thing, but im sure it will be awesome anyway
  • edited June 2013
Love the idea however TTG still hasn't bothered to fix the save issues in s1 that many people are encountering including myself so there's honestly no point in buying it if my choices that I make won't carry over, same goes for s2.

Lots of positive response related to this dlc..
I'm pretty much sure most of us are looking forward to try out the game..
    Just don't disappoint us Telltale..
Are there any information regarding the length of each story?
  • edited June 2013
Please don't flame me. I heard these episodes are short. So has Telltales announced how short, or are we suppose to believe their the same length as the first season.

Also are the rumors true, that Rick Grimmes will be showing up in season 2 ?

apparently each character is about 20 minutes

So each episode is 20 minutes, which means we got an awesome 100 minutes (1 hr and 40 minutes) of game play.

yeah each character/episode or maybe better to call it chapter will be about that but of course that depends on the individual playthrough so maybe it could possibly be done from 1-2 hours, and i suspect (for me at least) it will have replay value so many hours of fun

This is all one episode. These are just chapters for that episode that you are allowed to play in any order.
