How did Stranger get the walkie talkie from Glenn?

Clementine had walkie talkies. After Glenn departs and drives away to Atlanta, he leaves with one of her walkie talkies. Later in the game, the Stranger talks to Clementine with the walkie talkie that Glenn had. But, how did he get it from Glenn? Why don't we hear from Glenn anymore? Could he have been killed by the Stranger? Did it fall out of the car and later picked up by him? How did he get the walkie talkie?

    The stranger did not take Glenn's walkie talkie, he has his own. He just changed the frequency until he found Clementine.

    Yeah, if you look at the walkies, they look very different. He was probably just always searching for signals on his radio and found Clem's frequency, by unfortunate chance.
