I got a doubt about Stranger and his family

Well.. he says his family died that time the gang raided his car because they went away or something. How did he know we raided it? Clementine told him? When his wife decided to leave why didn't he stop them or went with them?

Is that true or was he just fucking with us? I don't know what to think. Maybe that necropedophile(CC anyone?) just wanted the girl for his own dirty wishes.

Maybe watching her son and wife death and then cutting her fucking head off so he can carry her around messed up his mind a little. By the way who the hell(apart from Stranger) cut off the head of his loved ones?

I think he's a liar.

    No, it's true. He knows everything that Lee did because Clementine told him over the radio, because he claimed to have her parents. He calls you out on pretty much every choice you make, and he probably put two and two together when Clem mentioned food from an abandoned car, or something along those lines. His mind got messed up AFTER he saw his wife and daughter dead in the road, he was probably somewhat sane before they died.
