When Lee passes out....

When Lee passes out in the morgue did anyone expect him to wake up and see the ghosts of Doug/Carley besides him and tell him to keep fighting and save Clementine and that they will meet again the afterlife .
One day i checked the audio files of episode 2 , and it looks like Telltale planned a sequence where Lee falls asleep and sees Doug/Carley and they are angry at him for not saving them .
Before episode 5 came out , i thought we were going to see Shawn , Carley , Doug , Mark , Larry , Katjaa , Duck and Chuck again but as ghosts and they would help Lee and some might thank him for the choices he made and some might criticise him for example Larry yells at Lee for leaving his daughter on the road .
Did anyone else expect to see these characters again when Lee passed out ?

    That would've dragged me right out of the moment. Personally I'm glad they left this out.

    IMO that would be really cheesy.

    Yeah, ghosts would have been cheesy as heck. He has one flashback in the game but I think imagining somebody's voice would've really broken the immersion.
