It comes out tomorrow for PC/Mac users. US PSN users just got it early.

It's fine. I'm really looking forward to it myself and I have to say all the spoilers are tempting lol.

Without Steam's distribution system interfering, I'd wish they'd give a time as well as a date. I could go to bed late and hope to catch the launch, but last time I tried that, the episode turned out to be delayed...

Wait, so. I bought the game from the Telltale store, but got a Steam code when they were so late in getting it out. So I've been playing the game on Steam. Am I going to have to go through all five episodes again if I want my decisions to affect 400 Days?

You can transfer your Steam savegame to the Telltale Store's version, I guess.

afaik both versions even use the same savegame folder, so yes you should be able load your old savegames.

Well, "tomorrow" has arrived, the dlc is available to purchase on steam for 4.99. How are we supposed to get it for free?
    Is anyone playing it already?

To get it for free, you resist your urge for immediate satisfaction and wait for a Telltale Games Store release.

Thanks for the tip (: I just logged into the game and saw it wasn't there yet, but now I know not to freak out.

the people who have the PC retail version of WD,
(meaning you actually went to a store to buy it)
are going to have a problem with the DLC.

400 days is available on gamefly and on steam,
so far it's not listed at the Telltale website to download the DLC.
if you buy 400 at gamefly you use steam to download it, that's when the problem starts for Walking Dead season 1 retail PC version owners.
the problem is the DLC needs the Base game which would be the retail version but, it's not working and the DLC only works when you use the steam version of Walking Dead as the base game.

this is what they sent me to fix it and I am still waiting for my unique ticket number for that form as of the 5th of july.

We are aware that customers who’ve purchased the PC retail disc version of The Walking Dead will not have access to ‘400 Days’, the Special Episode DLC released for Season 1. At this time, we are offering all PC retail disc customers Steam codes to download the first season (Episode 1-5) of The Walking Dead, so that they can then acquire ‘400 Days’.
You can find the PC retail disc Code Redemption Form here (http://cdn.telltalegames.com/files/walkingdead/claim/TWDCodeRedemptionForm-PC.docx) Please read through this document in its entirety and follow all instructions to claim your Steam codes.
