400 Days: Was anyone else left wondering...

... whether Glenn might be the brother that Vince was talking about? Episode 1 alluded to Glenn having a criminal past ("You didn't think that I just delivered pizzas, did you?"), and the two characters do look a lot alike, aside from the facial hair...

Nah, I'm just kidding. Could be.

If I'm not mistaken, Glenn and Vince also use the same voice actor.

Okay, looking back at my post, it was phrased kinda... lamely. *LOL* Still, they do look quite a bit alike - to the extent that someone I was watching the trailer with asked if Vince was Glenn.

Different voice actors according to the wiki - but they do sound a bit alike. (I can totally see Glenn using the "Simmer down, assholes" line that Vince used. :) )

I also noticed something interesting in the character bios on the Telltale site - check out the caption for Glenn:

(Did anything like that come up in the actual in-game dialogue for Ep. 1? I thought he was just going back to Atlanta to find friends, but I may have skipped some optional dialogue...)

Well, as a reader of the comics Glenn never mentions a brother but it is possible.

However, the line ("You didn't think that I just delivered pizzas, did you?") is explained in the comics where before the apocalypse Glenn was dead broke and had resorted to stealing cars and the such to pay off debts.

    EDIT: http://www.telltalegames.com/walkingdead/cast/#glenn

Now that is quite interesting... However TellTale has had to retcon information in the past (Lilly originally being the Lilly from the comics before making her an original character after a book on Lilly's past was released) so we might need some confirmation...

It could definitely work, but after the Lilly fiasco, I imagine Telltale could be gunshy of doing something like that again.

    Interesting theory!

All they need is approval from Kirkman, and in season 1 when Glenn leaves he talked about having to go to Atlanta to find his friends. If his brother (which in the comics I believe he said he had a brother) was indeed keeping him out of trouble, I'm sure he didn't mention Vince to avoid suspicion just as Lee lied to hide his relation to his parents. Vince was probably going to the same prison as Lee considering their felonies were approximately the same(except the worth of the person killed).

You might be on to something. When Vince is fleeing the crime scene, he runs by the drug store you meet Glenn at in Ep 1.

The link no longer works, and I can't find a cast page on the Walking Dead game page anymore; Telltale might have taken it down. What did the caption say? I'm really curious now.

    Oh, wow... how weird. *LOL*

I found the approximate text of the caption on the IGN website:

"Glenn is a likable and resourceful guy who is always willing to help. After failing to reconnect with his estranged family, Glenn is on the road back to Atlanta where he hopes to find his brother, and where fate will lead him to meet up with Kentucky Sheriff's Deputy Rick Grimes."

Thanks! That is very interesting that they chose to mention a brother in the bio. It also seems weird Vince mentions his brother, but is very vague about him. I think there is a chance that the two are in fact brothers. It could just be coincidence, but it makes me wonder.
