was i supposed to get steam code?

Back in the day i pre ordered the walking dead season abd lately i heard on here that i wad supposed to recieve a.steam code? I didnt and i didnt know to ask can i still get 1?

    The Telltale store was unable to release Episode 1 on it's original release date, finally, late that evening, when it was apparent the Telltale store was not going to get the game out, they sent out emails to all the pre-orders with a Steam code. Not sure how you'd go about getting that now.

    Any news on this? I think I have the same problem. When downloading the file (preordered) via telltale.com, the game says I don't have a license.

    When downloading it on Steam, it says "coming soon" at the 400 days DLC..:(
