About Bonnie's scenario...

edited July 2013 in The Walking Dead
I reloaded to 'save' Dee from being killed by accident by Bonnie's hands by allowing her to catch me, but to my surprise she killed Bonnie instead, which caused a game over. With or without a weapon, Dee kills Bonnie after finding her crouched on the ground.

But this is what I don't understand. She had a flashlight, meaning that she could have easily recognised Bonnie before she attacked and killed her. Bonnie couldn't have known that whoever was stalking her was actually Dee becauses the lights from Dee's flashlight was in her eyes at the time. She was cornered and scared, and in the end it was either Bonnie or whoever was stalking her.

Does this mean that Dee had wanted to kill Bonnie the entire time? She knew about the affair, and she had already dragged Leland away to leave Bonnie after she was shot on the shoulder. Circumstantial evidence, but it does point to the theory that Dee did want to see Bonnie dead.

Also, it's funny how the entire event happened because Dee stole from Shel's group, which is why they were hunting them down in the first place. Had Dee not made the theft, she wouldn't have died.

Pardon my ramblings. What do you all think?

That is exactly what happened. She was at an emotional stress point and she just blindly wanted to kill Bonnie to save her marriage, which looked quite hypocritical when she says that Bonnie murdered her on purpose.

I think Dee did it out of spite, or maybe, in the same position as Bonnie, knocked her out, then killed her in sheer panic, and or spite.

But I also got the impression it wasn't a full on affair, just mutual feelings for each other.

I dunno. It really is a toss-up in my opinion.

Honestly, with the amount of negative feedback you get from trying to defend yourself or Leland, I'm surprised she didn't just knock you out while the trio were in the middle of the woods arguing and left you for dead (sounds like a certain old man).

I actually don't know how Bonnie dies to Dee. It seems kind of "optimistic" to think that Dee was just stressed from knowing that the group she stole from was coming to kill her (and anyone with her) and the added run-through the cornfield just messed her up to just go ham on the first person she saw (kinda like Bonnie!).

Then again, we hear how Dee thinks of Bonnie with her dying words. Those definitely aren't "understanding, positive" words. :(

see my nit pic topic.. :P

it seems like a confusing set up..

you don't know it's dee till you 'kill' her

she is actually sneaking around alone..and just knock you out with the torch so why not have another scene wherre bonnie comes around with leeland and dee watching over you before finally killing bonnie ? makes more sense to me ;)

and yea i agree dee is a hypocrite for then calling bonnie out for attacker her... but she was dying, had severe brain damage so wasn't actually making sense..

i re did this scene on another save slot and if you actually try to be nice or defend leeland she's not as nasty in her final moments but because she's dying she stops in the middle of some of her sentences to blame you and insult bonnie.

She did it on purpose. When I played Bonnie's episode a second time, when Dee was on the ground, she said "I saw you", so... I guess she knew what she was doing.

It's pretty sad, actually. She was losing the only person she had left, so she desperately tried to keep him by her side, even if that meant killing Bonnie. It's even sadder to see that she seemed nice a pretty decent person before the incident.
