Bonnie's Story - Walker?

When I played through Bonnie's chapter, after Bonnie fell down the hill, when she woke up I was greeted with a crawler that I had to kill. I saw some playthroughs and I noticed that some of them didn't have the walker. Is there something that affects whether or not you see the walker?

It's in Russell's story. You can mercy-kill that walker at one point. If you do that you don't have to deal with him in Bonnie's story.

Damn, that's a pretty cool detail.

Really? I played Russell's story after that, so when in Russell's does that ption appear?

Just before you go into the diner, IIRC. It's the cop walker on the ground Russell stops and notices.
If you pick the "shouldn't we put him out of his misery?" dialogue option, you get a chance to mercy-kill him.
I did that and didn't have to fight any walkers during Bonnie's story.

I think the opposite happens as well. If you play Russell's story first (like Tyraa and I did), you get the option of crushing the walker, and if you do, you never encounter it in Bonnie's story.

But if you play Bonnie's story first (like Rock114 or my girlfriend did), you have to kill the walker to proceed, and you never encounter it in Russell's story (because potentially crushing it then would be a time paradox).

    Pretty neat!
