Bought WD in a retail store . How do i get '400 Days' DLC

I bought the game from tescos about 2 months ago as I saw it on offer and bought it.. as you do. but I have played the game. completed it and have been waiting for the new download. when it got released I went on to my downloadable content to download it but it isn't there. no sign of it what so ever. now I see people saying that they bought there WD game online from telltale and they can get the DLC. but I don't understand why I am excluded from this downloadable content even though I have bought the game. from where I buy it from shouldn't be a problem . and now I don't know how to get the DLC and I certainly don't want to buy the WD game again as I don't need 2 copies of it. all I need is the DLC please.

If anyone can help me then it will be much appreciated . im just worried that I have wasted money on a game that I cant get extra things for :(

Please someone help me

I have the retail walking dead pc too, then I just bought the 400 days from gamefly , but need steam to download it, when you add the game to steam it wont let you use the 400 days security key, you need steams bought/downloaded walking dead.
at support@telltalegames.com, email them for the form to download, what a pain! instructions on the form say you will need to email them for a unique walking dead code, to write on the booklet's last page, along with the game case, dvd, and booklet show'g your unique code written on it, take a picture of all that, and a copy of store receipt where you bought it, fill out the form, replying back with all that to their email they sent to you with the unique code, so they can send you the the security keys to redownload all 5 of season1 from steam, then you can download 400 days and finally play it, the sad news is that won't be on the 4th of july, today, for your unique code because they are closed on holidays, isn't that the craziest thing, happy 4th to us all.

I haven't got the receipt as I bought it 2 months ago :( and it seems like a lot of hassle that telltale have given us even though we have bought one of THEIR products even if it was through a retail store. They should have still made it easier for us to get the DLC as we are playing their franchise and want to keep playing it.

I was hoping for my problem to be resolved but it seems like I need to do a hell of a lot of stuff just to get my DLC . Just 1 simple thing that I can click so I can buy the DLC would suffice but I feel like it will never happen :(

Thank you for your response though

this is what they sent me on the 3rd, and it has the link to get the form.
so far I have not got my unique ticket number as it says on the form to email for it,
I got the automated reply from them on the 3rd,
they are closed on holidays and weekends so I hope they fix it before Friday quit'g time. because I sent another email asking for this number today,
just so I can take the picture and then send it in and wait again for the steam codes,
lol what a bunch of crap, you would think a patch would be made,
or just a snapshot of your box upc code would do.

what they want is to download steams walking dead season 1,
then the download will work for 400 days.
I bought it on gamefly and need to use steam to download it.
i'm just wonder if the retail version I fin'd will carry over my decisions to 400 or
will we need to replay it using the steam version we will also have?? lol.
anyways you can probably get a copy of the receipt from that store.
ok heres the email they sent me:
We are aware that customers who’ve purchased the PC retail disc version of The Walking Dead will not have access to ‘400 Days’, the Special Episode DLC released for Season 1. At this time, we are offering all PC retail disc customers Steam codes to download the first season (Episode 1-5) of The Walking Dead, so that they can then acquire ‘400 Days’. You can find the PC retail disc Code Redemption Form here (http://cdn.telltalegames.com/files/walkingdead/claim/TWDCodeRedemptionForm-PC.docx) Please read through this document in its entirety and follow all instructions to claim your Steam codes.

ye I got my redemption form an hour ago. I really cant understand how excluded we are from getting the DLC . we bought their franchise so we should be entitled just like everyone else.

but I cant complain as they are graciously helping us resolve the issue. cant wait for all the hassle to be over.

Once again thank ou for trying to help me :)
