Nate or Danny St John

Who is the most creepy and craziest character Nate or Danny St John ?
My vote is for Nate because well Danny was very creepy individual but Nate is pretty much crazy with a capital C and his evil grin pretty much says all .

I guess I would say Nate, but I'm not 100% sure!

Nate doesn't eat people or have a love affair with his gun, AFAIK. So Danny wins for sure.

Where is Nate! Hes not in the epilogue! I liked him, except for cleaning his ears in front of russel.

He is not in the epilogue yes but he is seen in the credits and looks like he is searching for Eddie and Eddie is hiding with a cop in his hands .

    I'd say Danny.

With Nate, he expresses his craziness quite openly. You'd have to be blind to not know this guy's a psycho within 5 minutes of meeting him.

Danny is more reserved and subtle, you have an itching feeling in the back of your head that this guy is probably a psycho, but you're not sure yet. By the time you finally realize it, he's already served you your friends' legs on a silver platter.

What Mornai said. With Nate, you knew something was up. Danny just had that creeper look that people aren't sure what to do about.

Nate by a landslide. He's completely deranged, but so damn cordial at the same time. Nate's the kind of wacko who would apologize to your corpse after unloading both barrels of a shotgun into your head. The way he asks "can we still be friends?" while Russell walks away sounds so damn sincere, even when he's about to murder an elderly couple! If he's the main antagonist and/or ally for a future episode of S2, I'd be pleased as punch.

Nate doesant come close, danny's a fucking cannibal and that's enough for me.

I'd have to say Nate. The thing is, Nate is more physco/crazy/reckless character while Danny is more just a generally all around creepy character. I think Nate would be more of a threat, because he has no specific intentions, while Danny, on the other hand most likely plans his victims deaths.

Also, dat gun, Danny LOVES dat gun

St. Johns ate people, that's pretty messed up all together. He is def. the winner!

Creepy and crazy are two different things. Nates on the crazy side, while Danny is more on the creepy side
  • edited July 2013
The St. John's were messed up in the head, that's what eating human flesh does to you - just like good ol' BSE. Nate on the other hand was completely stir crazy!

Tough call. Danny is quiet creepy. Nate is crazy creepy. Which one is worse? They're both totally unpredictable.

I guess Nate because hopefully he wouldn't try to eat me. :(

Or would he??? Haha, you never know with Nate, guy's a wrecking ball.

Danny. He was completely oppressive, very crazy and much more dangerous. Nate is more or less misunderstood until we understand more about him.

I can see myself getting on Nate's "good side" if I played my cards right. Danny? The man doesn't have a good side.

Nate is more like Merle, he do random stuff and no one understand why (and he don't give a lot of shit about people too :3). That's why i love him <3

Danny eat people, like a gun and feed bandits with humans. You can't fight against a guy like that

I found Danny creepier, Nate was crazy alright, but not exactly crazier than your average joe bandit those days. Danny though had a human slaughterhouse, set beartraps for humans in the fucking woods, talked to his gun, named "Charlotte", and he looked like a fucking crackhead, sorry... but Danny is creepier.

Nates behaviour just reminds me of Merle dixon, and for me thats a win all year long.

How about Nate becomes a regular character in Season 2?? I could die happy if that happened lol Nate is just so badass

    Nate was very well done.

Nate is hands down my favourite character from 400 days, and honestly I didn't think he was that crazy.
  • edited July 2013
Both are pretty creepy, but I'd pick Nate. You never know what he's going to do. One minute he could be driving you down the road, making pleasant conversation, the next he might throw you out of the car and decide to run you down just for the hell of it.

They both creep me out, I guess Nate because you just never know what he will do but Danny was very creepy, the way he just say's like ya'll scared me so much with him just sitting there eating the meat, Nate is 1 but Danny is very close behind in my opinion.

    Nate is the Loveable Phychopath
the Saint John's aren't as loveable...
  • edited July 2013
Nate kills in cold blood, but there's little rationale or planning to his spontaneity. The Saint Johns actually have a system of luring families to a slaughterhouse and thinking they have justification in it.

So close call. I'd say that Nate actually has a few more screws loose, but Danny's more of a straightforward sadist.

That how I feel about it, Danny is somewhat predicable but Nate has no reason for what he does he just does it.

    Shit Man!It's real name!
    sorry about my english.......

    huh,I think Nate is madman:D

They both had that "slip a roofie in your drink" date rape kinda vibe. Pretty tough to determine which one's worse. Maybe danny cause he was a momma's boy, oh and a cannibal. Nate just didn't give a shit and I can respect that.
  • edited July 2013
most creepy = danny st. john, most crazy = Nate, but most creepy and crazy = Nate

Am I the only one who thinks that Nate could have been a serial killer before everything happened? I mean, I don't think that he WAS, but he really seems like one, doesn't he?
  • edited July 2013
Danny by far, you would have to feel so uncertain around him because he could and he couldn't be a psycho. Whereas Nate is very open and clear about everything, he's batshit crazy but I think only because the way the world has turned made him out to be this way. Danny was a cannibal and he would win hands down with slaughtering and cutting people up just to eat them, including the fact he loves his gun dearly..
  • edited July 2013
Nate does not strike me as the type of guy that was nice before shit went down, he may have just got worse as things happened, that and maybe the Walking Dead has enough crazy people be could before everything, when was the last time someone was bat shit crazy before everything?
  • edited July 2013
No vote, because you're missing the most obvious and important answer...
    Hint, he teaches little league...

(I didn't think the St. Johns were that creepy. I felt it coming and I kept joking that "they are cannibals" while playing, almost trying not to bother looking for a secret... you could say I was disappointing. I can relate with Nate as I would do the exact same bullshit to Russell, hell, if I was Russell I would even laugh and accept it).
  • edited July 2013
Nate, the way he let that female walker into the car window and tortured Russell until he rated her, was one of the best character defining moments I've seen in a long time. It let you know this dude is fucking nuts.

Or have a thing for little girls in springtime dresses visiting the farm (or something like that) if one of the unused audio files is anything to go by. Dude's creepy as shit enough, I'm kinda glad they axed that bit. And he's so sickly looking, ugh. So, definitely Danny.

For all Nate's sexual innuendo, I don't think he's into little girls.
  • edited July 2013
Wait what, did you just say one of the files said he was into little girls... you make me want to back and just kill him for just that, what was the full line if you know.

Oh christ, I'd love to but I can't remember exactly where it is.

The youtuber Ryuka Vallis has uploaded all the retakes and unused lines from each episode and it is in one of them, sorry. It's not explicit, but he relates it to Lee so creepily you have to wonder. Also, in another file, there's talk of him getting into 'trouble' for something and having to leave his insurance business and come back to the farm. It could be anything but they deliberately cut these to 'normalise' him a little.

I know the voice actor said it was the creepiest line he ever did for Danny.
