Confused

I registered here because the story really has a hold on me, never expected this from this game. Glad I was proven wrong.

The important things during my playthrough:
- I chose Duck above Shawn, if that mattered anything. I sided with Kenny against Larry in Lee's parents store. I was neutral in the conflict at the motel between Lilly and Kenny, it seems reasonable because I liked Kenny but he sometimes is a little annoying.
-I told everyone the truth about my past when I had the chance at the motel.
-I left Lily to her fate after she shot Carley, from that moment I couldn't keep her on the group any longer. I liked Carley and expected somekind of romance between Lee in the long haul, but it was not to be, so that's one reason why I let Lily there.
-I shot Duck so Kenny didn't have to do it.
-I told the group it's best to go for the countryside.
-I convinced Kenny to shoot the walker kid on the attic.
-I let Ben drop, because he wanted to and because in the end I thought he was a liability to the group.
-Kenny died a foolish death in my playthrough, accidently making Lee drop the walkie talkie and after Christa went in and couldn't get back, Kenny jumped in and gave her a boost, but walker were all around Kenny. I presume he died, sadly.
-I told Omid and Christa to meet me at the train, which I also told Clementine to do. I told Clem to avoid big cities and find Omid and Christa.

So far so good, I understand everything til this point. Things are starting to get confusing after the 400 Days DLC. In the end, Lee didn't survive very long, compared to most survivors we get to know in the DLC. I hope it's not going to be a habbit killing of the main character every season. The two shadows after who see Clem can be anyone, I hope Omid and Christa, but I'm afraid not.

I'm confused about the Tavia deal, I actually re-did the last part where Tavia takes the photos twice. The first time I had only Bonnie and Shel go with Tavia, Russel, Wyatt and Vince stayed. It surprised me that replaying that small bit and choosing different dialogue changed the whole situation. I let Tavia become more convincing and this time everyone but Vince went with Tavia.

Now I'm really confused, dropping a bunch of characters in one DLC is one thing. But I don't know what's good season 2, going with Tavia? Or staying? Wyatt and Vince are my favorite characters in the DLC, would be a shame if Vince never returned just because he does not go with Tavia.

It's confusing the hell out of me what direction Telltale is going. I sometimes think they are leaving Clem's fate unknown and taking a whole new direction. But I hope not.

If you think there's good/bad options, then Telltale aren't doing their job properly. They've said every choice is supposed to be the bad choice, it only matters which you think is right. Such as the Stranger's car, looting it is highly unethical, but leaving it is stupid, especially as the whole episode was on hunger. That's why Vince's choice was so murky.

I think Tavia's community will be the focus of Season 2. She makes it out to be very important, and its arguably the whole point of the DLC. Not that staying won't have "benefits". I think we'll definitely see all the characters one way or another, Clem too. I really think it is Omid and Christa on the hilltop. And I also believe that in Christa's condition, they will be in Tavia's community.
