How Many Seasons Do You Think Walking Dead Will Have?

Before it stops for good?

I really have no idea, if Season 2 is good which I hope it is then I will want a third season but were to end... I guess three to five would be a good stopping point, ten is way to much and would be milking at that point and Walking Dead should never turn into COD.

    I agree

I guess 4 would be good, three is okay but maybe to little and five is my limit so 4 it is.

I'll keep paying until what they are doing is no longer of the same high quality. I chose five seasons because that's when Glorificus was the Big Bad on Buffy, and I love her. So yeah.

EDIT for complete and utter idiocy in my first sentence. Hehe.

3 or 4. I choose 3 since that is how many seasons Sam and Max has, and I think that was a good amount of seasons for that game. Aside from the game getting boring, another reason why a lot of seasons wouldn't be a good thing is that it would prevent Telltale Games to work or focus on another series. When TT was a smaller company, most of their work was on Sam and Max. Sure they made other games, but those lasted for a season.

That and my favorite show Breaking Bad is only going to be five seasons, a good stopping point if I ever saw one.

The Walking Dead is an expanding universe, the comic on touches on a few states in /america/ alone. Telltale could carry it on infinitely if they keep it fresh, maybe getting permission to move onto other countries from Kirkman.

I think they should do a total of three seasons for the time being, with another special episode akin to 400 Days between two and three.

I don't really care if the next season(s) continue Clementine's story or follow a new group - as long as the story is good...

Garth Ennis had an eff'd-up apocalyptic comic called Crossed. After the end of the main ten-issue volume, he and other writers worked on short stories set within the same universe.

I think that after season three, Telltale could do a miniseries of separate yet connect short stories...
Say it had three two-hour long episodes - you play a different story each one, but they are all related to each other like it were 400 Days on steroids.

And after a miniseries - they could do a comeback season...

It'll probably have around 3 seasons. However, I just want it to end with its second. There's only so much story to cover before it seems as if the game is being dragged on with zombie stories, such as Kirkman's comics.

That, and I'd also want to see other games from Telltale. The Wolf Among Us! :)

They'll keep going as long as it sells well enough, I guess. Anything else would be rather strange. ;)

I think 2-4 seasons would be nice, but it's all depending on how good the writing is.

but thats what the Walking dead IS! A contiuning story of survival Horror, Kirkface has already hinted that it will surpass 275 issues ( thats over 10 years from now ) while kirkman is alive, the story will continue

Yeah, if anything the game should end on Clementine being a full fledged survivor shaped by whatever choices we made. So, season three or four.

I'd rather not tire of the series, and have it go on forever. This is what makes the comics so disappointing. They get stale.

Yeah but if they are going to have the series go on forever then that would mean that Telltale will have to turn their franchise into " The Walking Dead Games " and abandon the others series like Sam & Max , Back To The Future etc , and hell i'm still waiting for a fourth season . Just because they had succes with one game that doesn't mean they should abandon all series and focus on Walking Dead forever . If the Walking Dead goes on for years than it will turn into a cash cow and people will get tired of it eventually .

Exactly. I don't want them to just be that one company that does The Walking Dead. I think it's good for them to have it as a series they can return to in the near future, but there are other opportunities and projects that should have presented themselves to really make Telltale grow even more.

Otherwise, they're just going for the dead end.
