Season 2 Hooded Figures Speculation

Who are they?

Christa and Omid? Too obvious

Molly? Maybe.

Why are they both wearing hoods in the first place?

I'm betting it's the lead characters of season 2, people who were not in S1 or 400 Days. The reviewer in that article would have recognized them.

So the question I have is, if there is a man and a woman, which one is our protagonist... or do we get to choose?

    Interesting theory.

A few people have suggested they're the two silhouettes seen by Clementine in S1's epilogue/cliffhanger, and I'm inclined to believe them (as much as I desperately want the figures in the teaser image to be Kenny and Bonnie :o).

Maybe Tavia's community is a cult? We really need more information I think.

I feel you bro. I feel you. I just don't know why'd they'd be "hiding in the shadows" and wearing hooded jackets? The only person I can think of who would do that is Molly...

Molly or some kind of Bandit, not the Save Lot Bandits but some type of raiders that kill people, but they could be good people so it's very open.

Maybe it's Nate, hiding in the shadows to catch his tail :D

I almost guarantee you that they are new characters. Their models are the same as Doug and Ben (according to the wiki,) but we're obviously not supposed to know.

We never did get to see if she was being 100% honest, and usually TWD communities are never something you trust. Then again, a cult does seem a bit over the top....

If they're new characters, I won't deny that I'll feel disappointed. I'd prefer to see a direct continuation of the characters I've gotten to know in season 1, as opposed to simply meeting them through the eyes of a new PC.

I also suspect that Telltale will "start over" with season 2, beginning on the first day of the zombie apocalypse again so we can get acquainted with our new leads, and then have the two of them spot Clementine beside the tree in episode 10's final moments. Afterwards, we'd follow the three survivors to Tavia's community in season 3.

This isn't how I personally want to see the story play out, but I realize it's probably how it will play out.
