playing 400 days in chronological order

Vince - day 2, Wyatt - day 41, Russell - day 184, Bonnie - day 220, Shel - days 236 & 259, Epilogue - day 400

while i think the ability to play it out of order is fun(especially for the impact value of the individual stories), but i actually think playing it in chronological order is better because decisions you make affect the future and help you see how the stories tie into each other, eg. russell can kill the zombie guard from Vince's story and that saves bonnie from being attacked once she falls down the hill, also if Wyatt saves the other guard from vince's story the old man from the gas station is a guard dog instead of the guard.

i think some kind of in game indication of the chronological order of the stories would be good because anticlockwise starting from vince doesn't seem like a natural order and i had to check wiki just to make sure

If Bonnie kills the zombie that Russel can "mercy kill" depending on you playing Bonnie's before Russel's. Does it show up in Russel's story still? So you can cause a time paradox?

Lol Yeah it still shows up in Russell's story because Bonnie's takes place after Russell's story. Things can only be affected by stories that are BEFORE each other, like the cut on Nates hand and the missing headlight.

if you play bonnie before russell the zombie isn't there ( meaning it may be round the corner) for russell to kill so no time paradox but it does attack bonnie

Yeah I played it chronologically and I prefer it that way.

I played by how they were announced, I thought that was chronological but I was wrong, going from Vince to Bonnie to Russel to Shel to Wyatt was not right at all.

i played it sort of randomly the first time i went Wyatt, Bonnie, Vince, Shel then Russell so there wasn't much connection between the episodes.

but in chronological order you see the guard from vince's story in wyatt's story, in Russell's story you see the cut on nates hand from wyatt's story also you see the guard from vince's story and maybe zombie Justin(i think), then with bonnie's story you may see the guard but you will see the prison bus from vince's story, then with shel you see the gas station where nate killed the old couple and also you may see the guard from vinces and wyatt's story as a guard dog.

I played Vince, Russell, Wyatt, Bonnie and then Shel. It's mostly in chronological just Wyatt and Russell are flipped.

My second time around I played it in chronological order

Played chronologically, it made everything easier and has the whole story flow

I tried to do it chronologically, but I failed and did it by the order of when they came out of the vine records.

I had no idea that playing it in chronological order affects the choices.

I played it completely out of order, and was pretty confused. Why is Joyce in Shel's group when Nate killed her? :p

Joyce is not the old lady that Nate kills, she was apart of Vernon's group and was in Episode 4, the one Nate kills is one of the guard dogs.
