How long will the split last?

Okay so at the end of 400 days the characters make a choice whether to go with Tavia or not. There is a ton of different options (does anyone know how many?).

However i'm asking how long do you think the different options will remain?

I'm assuming it will last for maybe one episode after seeing the characters again before they are pushed back together. However I am hoping its a permanent split for the rest of the season due to what Tavia said about not coming that way for a while.

    That's really a hard question since we don't know where they'll take it in Season 2. But I think you might be right. They'll probably have an episode or two without the people who didn't come and then some event happening which would force them to either join or maybe we come across the left behind characters and see their corpse or something. But I know for sure all of them will appear in the next season, whether or not they all came with you or not.

    Or they are minor characters that you can live without seeing, it would kind of make it a waste of a DLC and good characters but it is a option.

    Wouldn't it be kind of a ballsie move if when we next see our DLC friends they are all walkers in this little town we find? Granted I don't think that will happen but still.

    I think that whoever stays behind won't be seen again. Clementine and co will come across Tavia's group and the 400 Days people, if they went with her, will be there. I've got loads of reasons for thinking this but the main two are that there is a lot more plot points to come out of a community than a small camp and also at least one person has to come to Tavia's group, whereas no one has to stay behind in the camp.

    They could just have it so the camp people join Tavia eventually or make there way in somehow, but I'm not sure.

    I think that, possibly, episode 5 was like an experiment to see if they could do this kind of thing. There were a lot (I think 8?) of combinations of who came with you to look for Clementine. If they can do an episode with that many different branches and possibilities, then I think it could be an episode or so with everyone having a different combination with them.

    If we don't see the people who stay behind at the camp then there will be question as to what happened to them.

    I don't think the split could drag on for too long, especially if your save file had one person going alone. I say probably an episode or a half. It's like the part in season one where they are deciding who goes with Lee or who stays, sooner or later in the plot they reunited.
