Walking Dead free offer

edited July 2013 in The Walking Dead
I thought is was really cool that Telltale gave a free download of The Walking Dead 400 days to those who bought the original game from the Telltale store... I found this out from an email today a day after I beat the DLC and a few days after I already bought the dlc on steam.
Please be more prompt with these sort of things. I am happy for the gesture, but too late for it to matter now.

Despite his beef, thanks Tell Tale Games for the free DLC! I enjoyed it, while it was short, but what do I have to complain about. It definitely wet my appetite for season 2 and I enjoyed it. Thanks Tell Tale!

You should be able to download it from the The Walking Dead game that you download from Telltale. I don't think it works for the steam one.

I found the gesture to be a good one and I am happy for it, but I wanted to play this dlc as soon as I could, so I bought it on steam the day it was released on their. It would have been nice to know that I could have gotten it for free. I don't regret paying for it (very worth it), but any money I can save is nice.

I bought the DLC on PSN. It was only £3 though so I'm not too bothered if I didn't need to pay for it.

I somewhat agree with the OP, a nice gesture, but it seems a bit, like the true fans, who bought the dlc on day one, were left out of it.

Anyways, 400 days is nice enough and didn´t cost that much. Was worth the money ;)

    I LOVE YOU TELLTALE! :guybrush:
You guys are too epic, I mean the e-mail message was written so freely and funny :D

I'm so happy that I get to play this free of charge and also cheers for the successful 1st season of the game!

Can't wait to pre-order the upcoming Season 2, I just know it will kick ass, so keep up the good work ;)
Sorry for the hyper-fan post, but I'm really touched by them with this free DLC.

It just proves that being smaller means they are nicer, they will hopefully never become like EA.

Hi chinese, please keep your posts on-topic for the thread. Double posting is also poor forum etiquette - if you want to quote multiple posts, you can do so using the multiquote button (it's just to the right of the regular quote button). Thanks!

well i bought the game on steam during a steam sale, a game with no action and just dialog options seemed like a pretty crappy game to me, but it got good reviews so when it went on sale i bought it. it definitely deserves the reviews, so telltale not getting the full amount of money from me means it is quite fair for me to pay full price for the DLC.

i guess i am saying that the decision to give those that bought direct was a good one, and if buying season 2 through telltale won't cause issues with having season 1 (and the DLC) on steam then i probably will buy from them direct from now on.
