Character Bios

I think character bios for the characters you meet should be in Season 2. It would be a nice little add-on to the game and could give you a bit more information about the characters, and would be updated as more events happen. I imagine it would be implemented as it was in Arkham City, with a picture, a short bio and some facts about them. But, of course, it would have a TellTale spin on it. I think the images of the character bios would look very similar to the ones at the end of episode 5, and the bios should also tell you what choices you made that affected that specific character.

Your thoughts?

Meh, I'll just use the wiki, I haven't seen it with inaccurate information yet. Then again, I came late to the series.

I don't think they should do that. The bits and pieces given in the game are enough. You're supposed to take notice of characters, be somewhat interested in their story (even if you don't care). Besides, bios don't give more information than you can find out on your own. I agree that bios like in Arkham City would have been cool, but I don't think they work out just like it in The Walking Dead.

Yeah, that's good too, but TellTale could just give extra details on the characters and it just adds more time and information to the game. Also, it could tell you the choices you made that affected them (killed them/saved them) like at the end of Episode 5

I am not too bothered about this, but it would be a nice addition. Especially to find out even things the true age of people, we don't know most peoples actual ages from Season 1, and also everyones jobs as well (like the 400 Days people, Christa, Omid, etc... we don't actually know their old jobs). If not it would be good to put up a bio on the official website or something.

Stating their old occupations is a good idea

They did have Bio's for the original cast before it came out, might not now since it mentioned that Lilly was the comic Lilly.

Yeah, I know. But I mean in game bios that you could look at if you paused the game or something

That would be nice addition, I do have that feeling season 2 will be distinctively different from season 1, I can feel it in the wind.

I wonder how Season 2 will be "activated"? Will the first episode be right after 400 Days? Or will it be a completely new menu for Season 2?

My guess would be right after Episode 5, it would hopefully show Christa and Omid and if we are lucky Kenny's fate before moving on to Clementine.

No, I mean how you select it on the start menu. Will a new "Season 2" menu be added alongside Season 1? Or will it just be one continuous line?

Continuous most likely, but it could be ether.

They could do what Mass Effect did and have save imports, so you download Season 2 Episode 1, then just buy Episodes 2-5 from the Season 2 menu like how we did in Season 1. And when we start a game, there is an option for random choices or a save import from Season 1. It's kind of pointless but would be a way to differentiate each season.

But yeah it could go either way, I don't really mind however they do it. Having the save import option could make sense though in case Season 3/4 are on next gen consoles. Or can you not import a save from console to console?

    I don't think so...
It really breaks the immersion and part of TWD is not understanding the characters and if I had been given a Bio I might have predicted that Kenny would betray me...
