This is more interesting since Shel is the main pick, I really do not know which one, I know Nate is not my pick since, he is Nate, and Vince a killer for no reason as of now.
I think Wyatt and Eddie can be pretty good guys. They have a nice mindest and seem to have morals, which do not need to be a good thing. They would much more be the "Big brother"-Typeof caretaker. I can see Wyatt as her caretaker.
Vince is... Protective. Overprotective. He would be more of the "Aggressive Lee"-Type who yelled at Vernon because he wanted to take CLem from him, or when Larry wanted to kill Duck. He would be a valid chocie.
Bonnie is way to unstable. She is a former drug addict and seemed to have trouble overcoming it, even if it is a long way. So she would not be the right choice, but she would maybe adapt pretty quickly. I think she can do that, because she is not a dumb girl. Still not the first choice.
Russel is too distrustful, but quite the family guy. But I think he is also too careless and would probably get Clem and himself killed. I seem him just as a better ban. He does not screw up, but he is also not the type you would trust when he takes care of Celementine.
Eh. Nate. Yeah, lets move on.
I choose Wyatt. He is not to dumb, can be careful and I like his beard.
My pick is Vince. Here is my breakdown of each character.
Wyatt and Eddie seem like nice enough guys, but they both seem to be a little out of it at times and either way one of them ends up leaving the other behind. I'm not sure I'd completely trust them with Clem, but they wouldn't be a bad choice.
Nate is an enjoyable character to watch, but I wouldn't trust him with Clementine at all.
Russell appears to be a really nice guy who cares about his family. He was on his own when we first saw him, so it looks like he can take care himself. He does seem to be distrusting, which isn't necessarily a bad thing in his situation, but sometimes you need a group to survive.
Bonnie seems like a caring person and I think she'd be a pretty good pick. However, I don't know that she could protect Clem. Don't get me wrong she's great at taking out old, unarmed women, but I'm not sure she'd be able to protect Clem if she was on her own.
Vince cares a lot about family and seems like he would be a great protector. He's also the one who draws his gun on Tavia during the epilogue which implies that he may have been the leader of their group. His biggest negative is that he killed someone, but so did Lee and he turned out to be pretty great.
Vince killed someone for his brother before the apocalypse so I think he is pretty loyal to people close to him.
Wyatt/Eddie leave each other behind without second thought.
Bonnie accidentaly KILLED someone in her group.
Nate. NATE. NATE! NATE!!!!
Russell is still only a kid. He could hardly take care of himself and was walking around in the road WITHOUT any weapons.

Good analysis, kind of what I was thinking.
I'd prefer overprotective Vince over stoner Wyatt though. Imagine him high as fuck with walkers trying to get to Clem. I think Vince would be a good guardian in a similar way to Lee was.
I'd actually prefer Vince over Shel personally, as Shel seemed reluctant to prepare Becca for the realities of the world and she's a lot older than Clem.
Vince may come across as the most physically capable of protecting someone, but we don't really know that much about him. Killing someone on account of his brother for unexplained reasons and not flinching in leaving one of the prisoners behind can make him come across as the most callous of the five depending on how you look at it.
I think Russell. I imagine he is how Lee would have been since Lee was originally intended to be Clementine's brother in the early stages of the games development. But I suppose it comes down to how we control the characters. My version of Russell was caring, responsible and an all-round descent guy.

That's how I played Russell, too. I played as a "Mini Lee" lol

I guess it depends how we control the characters really. Based on how I played Lee I know he would be turning in his grave if he knew Clem would be influenced by Vince based on how my Vince behaved. My version of Vince was cold and wouldn't of tried to preserve Clem’s innocence or her humanity, he would have been more like Roman and Clem would become more like Becca under his guidance. My Vince would shoot a man in face deliberately, even before the outbreak and try and hide the evidence to avoid jail, then he would talk about it casually without remorse or regret (unlike my Lee who did what he did in a blind rage and was haunted by nightmares of the event and regretted it). He would then shoot a man's leg off and leave him to the walkers without even attempting to help him, by trying to carry him or by shooting him so he didn't die slowly when eaten alive (unlike my Lee who allowed Irene to use the gun on herself when she was bitten and put the suffering woman out of her mysery in ep3). The Lee in my game probably would have preferred her to be with my version of Russell or Shel since they were the most balanced. They were strong, capable, had good judgement and no baggage that we were aware of like addiction or bad habits that Lee would cringe about rubbing off onto Clem. So I vote Russell since Shel is excluded from the options.
All the candidates have somewhat large flaws, but then again Lee killed a state senator for sleeping with his wife and we all loved him, I could be wrong.
So five people think it's better to have a physio that kills when he wants to kill and talks about wanting tail every five minutes protect a 9 year old girl then everyone else above? I mean Nate is a cool character in all but I will not let him get close to Clementine.
Vince would take good care of Clem, IMO. He seemed nice, both in the bus and the ending (if he agrees to come with Tavia). I'd say Bonnie, but she seems a little too clumsy to take care of a child.
I'm sorry, but I think the world Clementine lives in now, she'll have to take care of herself. As harsh as that sounds, but it's the truth.
Yeah but she will need a group . I don't think she can a find a house and food in the middle of the countryside on her own . If she din't join the strangers on the hill than we can assume that she died considering she can't survive 400 days alone without a group
Vince, no doubt. He seems strong, cool, likable, and very protective of his family/companions.
Eddie/Wyatt: Eh, I don't think so. I'm sure they'd try their best to keep Clementine safe, but neither of them seems like they're very level-headed when the shit hits the fan. They're just not as capable as Vince, in my opinion. Of course, the thick, flowing trusses of Wyatt's beard would be the ideal hiding place for someone of Clementine's size.
Nate: No. Clementine would turn into a psychopath. A hilarious, little, frightening psychopath.
Russell: Sorry, but no. Basically for the same reasons as the bearded duo above. Even if he did try to look after her, I don't think he could handle the responsibility without one or both of them getting dead. Plus, he doesn't even have facial hair.
Bonnie: I wouldn't trust her to make me a poached egg. More than likely, she'd send me to an untimely death in the process. And worst of all, I bet she wouldn't even be able to get the egg to stay together......so it's a no for her.
Vince. Family's obviously important and similar to Lee I guess.
or
Bonnie. Heart of gold methinks. She's trusting and would likely be the most trustworthy, past be damned. I'm not holding that against her. Seems like a bit of a tough cookie too. Not sure I'd be so stealthy after a bullet to the shoulder.

Wyatt, because who else is going to teach a girl how to shroom?
Wyatt and Bonnie seem too incapable/on-edge, Nate is a madman, and Russell is a bit of a twat.
The flippantly murder people in cold blood kind of insane...

I agree with you, except with the Russel part. I voted Vince, myself.

Or maybe Justin. He could use Clem as a decoy to con people like in Zombieland
i think vince. he's the second lee.
