Are you as tough as Clementine?

edited July 2013 in The Walking Dead
As we all know, Clementine teams up with Lee in episode one in hope of finding her parents. A couple episodes later, she figures out that they are dead (She sees them as walkers). Since she has made it this far with Lee, she formed a very close bond to him. Only to have him die to.

To sum it up, she's 9 years old and already seeing people dead, people being eaten, and dead people walking again. On top of this, she experienced her entire group dying (With the exception of Christa, Omid, and Kenny).

Somehow she is still brave.

Here's my question to you- Are you as tough as Clementine? Could you go through the things she did as a kid, and still keep your sanity?

No, I am not even close to being as amazing as Clementine, I wish I was that cool when I was 8 or 9.

When I was at the age of 8, I began working with my uncle (He was a butcher), so I was used to blood and stuff like that, at the age of 9 to 15 I began cutting the meat by myself.

I am now actually 18 so if the dead people start showing up it would be like cows, 1 hit with an axe at a time.

If I was in her place now? Maybe.

Losing the people closest to you is hard not to mention during a ZA, so I am a maybe because we don't fully know how hard Lee's death hit her.

If she stays the same and doesn't let the amount of death she's experienced change her then yes she is stronger because I don't think I could live through what she has at that age and still stay strong.

    Clementine is tougher than anyone

Right now, no, but if I made it as far as she did, I'd say yes.

Didn't mean to vote yes, I don't think I would be able to handle all of that.

I don't think I could handle everything she had been through, I would probably go insane eventually oh wait I already am... Joke. So no I'm not.

    Loneliness makes you stronger.

I wouldn't have been able when I was 9, that much is for sure... now? Most likely not, she's seen a lot of shit, and still has a very calm attitude, I would be a wreck had I gone through the shit she had to go through. So... she's one tough little zombie killer, and I'm not.

Nah, not like her. In her place at her age I doubt I'd fare nearly as well. She's a very brave little girl, always helpful and smart thinking. Grr, I hope she'll have a part in Season 2 it'd be so disappointing if she isn't kicking more zombie ass and looking for Omid and Christa.

Clementine was an awesome character that was adorable but she not as badass or tough as people make out. She's a vulnerable little girl, behaves like a little girl and is petrified. That's what made the ending of season 1 so daunting, the fact that she was alone, lost and isolated. She was mollycoddled throughout the game. In ep4 she was either left at the house with Omid or left in the class room with Ben. She's closer to Sophia than Carl on the scale of juvenile badasses. Carl is tough. He doesn’t give a shit and he isn’t scared of anyone when he’s armed and dangerous. Even Negan rates him and admires his courage. Can you imagine that guy on the radio trying that shit with Carl? I remember when Carl lost his temper with Morgan because he was creeping him out. Carl is badass! He is very cautious of strangers but Clem, bless her, still has that innocence and naivety.

If I was the main NPC in a video-game and unkillable, yes I would be every bit as tough as Clem.
Tougher, in fact, because when others were in trouble I would hurl myself onto the attacking walker to distract them.
If I was facing down that St. John on the stairway with Katja hostage, I *would* have told her to 'put that gun down B***h!' cause I know I couldnt die.
I would have saved Kenny by running in after him when he went ape-s*it and started taking a 2x4 to the walkers with their backs to me.

Yo [racial remark], I am tougher than no 9 year old... I am urban [derogatory remark].

Now? I reckon I could cope with the horrors the world of The Walking Dead throws at you.

At the age of 8-9? No way.
