Graphic Improvement in Season 2

I noticed the graphics in 400 days were a bit better than Season 1. I like it. The characters have more detail. More eye colors were added (like green, hazel and and amber) and more unique models were used. Clothes were detailed and dirty and the emotions and faces (specifically Nate's) were great. The atmosphere and environments were also beautiful. I really liked the feel of Wyatt's story. It felt sad, gloomy, dense, fast and dark. Also, the beginning of Russell's story used great sky and color effects. The early sunset added a great orangy blue look to the sky and greenish orange to the ground. I also loved they sticked with the outlined comic book style, but made it more detailed and added more animations. The Wolf Among Us graphics look even better and smoother than the great 400 Days graphics, and I hope Season 2 will have look like that.

Your thoughts???

I think they will only be slightly better, or not at all different.

The thing about Telltale's TWD is the graphics are not the main focus like a lot of newer games focus on. Telltale is amazing because of their way to tell a story and get you fully involved in that story despite not much actual gameplay (Point and click instead of free roam) and less then usual graphics.

I would not at all complain if we had the exact same graphics as Season 1 if the story can get me as attached to Season 2 as it did with 1.

Yes I love that they focus more on story and keep the comic book drawn graphics, by I feel it would be slightly more immersive if the details were improved and animation was smoother

I think 400 Days looked great. The one improvement that I'm really hoping for in Season 2 is better lip-syncing. I imagine it's a pretty difficult thing to do, though.

probable not lip syncing, they have never been really great at that. I do think 400 Day's looked better then season 1, not that I care since the graphics were very good already and I am not a graphics whore, but I do seeing it looking a little better and improvement is never a bad thing, what I am look forward to in the technical area is less bugs, they promised that season 2 will not have the delete your save glitch and will have less over all, which is a massive improvement since that was the only complaint that I ever had ageist season 1, still get's 10-10 from though.

I thought 400 Days was on par with Season 1 Graphically, it's obviously still that same core team doing it.

I dont know if it was me but 400 days looked better somehow, maybe cause most of the scenes are at night/dark area but the faces and all the close up environments just looked especially detailed, maybe they just had more time with it?

I think they may have upgraded the engine a little bit, Season 2 will look a little bit better because someone here said that the engine for The Wolf Among Us is even better then 400 Day's so I think they will use that engine for season 2 or they will modifies it a little bit.

Hopefully it look like the Wolf Among Us, or better.

Telltale usually finds a really good balance between graphics and story. The best graphics in the world can't save a shitty story! They ride the line perfectly usually, and I think 400 days was definitely a step up in terms of the graphics and acting (maybe not voice acting, but it was still good.)

Another part of it is caring for the characters and what they are feeling. I would always be watching Clementine, Carley, Kenny, for what they were feeling and it was affected by what I was saying, so I hope they continue to be precise in character reactions, and give us characters we care about. Also the wolf of us screenshots released so far looks really really nice, so I'm also super excited for that too!
