Why does the game say Carley will remember that

edited July 2013 in The Walking Dead
It says "Carley will remember that" right when Larry shoots her. If she's definately dead becasue her death was confirmed in 400 days, why does the game say she'll remember. And the same with Kajta right before she dies, if you offer to shoot Duck yourself, it says "Kenny and Katja will remember". Why does the game say people will remember right before they die?

To avoid spoilers. Plus, as far as Lee knows, that person WILL remember it, because he (and the player, on their first playthrough) won't know that that character is about to bite it.

She Remembers for the next two seconds before she is shot in the face

It was put there as a false sense of security, if someone remembers what you said you do not think they will be dead in five seconds, it was there to fool us and it did fool me.

Exactly. It just made it all the more shocking when she was shot.

Technically, it's not a lie. She did remember it. Right up until she got shot in the face.

It doesn't mean that they will live, it's just saying those words were important to them, regardless how long they lived after they heard them.

I still don't understand how the bullet went through Doug and missed Ben by a micrometer. They should've both gotten shot IMO.
