Wallace and Gromit game not loading

Hi, I am trying to play the Wallace and gromit game on my windows 8 32 bit tablet (not RT, atom cpu) but the game doesn't load, wallacegromit101.exe opens but then closes a second later without anything opening at all.

I bought it from GOG.COM on sale and really wanted to play it on my tablet. I do not have a controller plugged in and haven't found any other possible solutions, hopefully I can get some official support on this.

I know this isn't as popular as TWD but I'd appreciate some help here. I have played through other telltale games on this device like Sam&Max and Law & Order Legacies and they work fine but wallace & gromit doesn't open. Is there anyone at Telltale or otherwise who has tested this game on a Windows 8 atom tablet?

I have no experience with the games on tablets, but i can imagine that the touchscreen could be acting as a DirectInput device similar to a gamepad and cause problems that way.

Intel graphics chips are not recommended and they don't work well with TTG's games.
That is most likely the problem, but i can take a closer look.
Please check if the game crash creates an entry in the "event viewer" in the "Windows Logs/Application" section.
If so, right click the entry, select "copy the details as text", and paste them in a new reply.

This is good, the dinput8.dll workaround could help.
It's possible it still won't work then though, due to the Intel graphics.

Super! It works now with that fix, well the game opens anyway. I'll have to see how it runs on the tablet (menu runs smooth at gfx quality 3). Thanks so much, now I can give this game a try.
