How Do you think Clive,Boyd and Joyce escape Savannah and survived into 400 days?

edited July 2013 in The Walking Dead
Do you think they actually got the boat out to water and then lived on the sea for awhile then somehow ran into Roman and Shel and their group?

You must be new to the concept of forums.

I think Vernon was probably devoured by the herd, taking the boat with him. This likely gave them time to leg it out of there and they probably spent a while following the train tracks until they came to the road where the train was stuck. They probably followed that road until they found the truck stop.

No one is forcing you to comment on the thread. The whole point of forums is to speculate,if you don't wish to thats fine.

maybe they put the train in reverse until they got to the train car blocking the tracks, then followed the road (past Carley/Doug) untill they got to the gas station/diner

I'm thinking Vernon just turned into an even bigger jerk and they had enough of him. Maybe when the boat ran its course, he was going to have them steal a car from someone, and they weren't on board with it. He probably abandoned them and they were on their own until they stumbled upon the diner or the group.

I was also thinking of the same thing, although I'm not sure if you can make the train to go reverse.

I think they got the boat out on the water, but Vernon started becoming an even bigger jerk, as stated somewhere above. Eventually, something happened to the boat, perhaps a walker attack while it was docked/ashore, and Vernon refused to leave it because of his obsession with it. Vernon died because he wouldn't let go of it, and Clive, Boyd, and Joyce wandered for awhile until they came upon Shel's group sometime before they found the diner.

I agree. But I never liked Vernon, so my opinion might be a little biased. :D

i don't know either, but if it can't go in reverse they probably followed the tracks

Maybe, I have not really driven any trains lately.

He saw Kenny stache, he must have learned how to harness the power.

Donovan Corneetz (Donovan VO) who voiced Clive in 400 days! :D

I think they either were able to get the train moving in reverse back towards Macon or they just walked most of it.

EDIT: I just realized most of them are old as dirt so scratch the walking idea

It would be nice to know were the gas station is, it could be close to Savannah or closer to Macon.

Would have been cool if Molly discovered what they had done and rang some bells on them, probably not though considering Lee still has to deal with the horde at the Marsh House.

We have a voice actor in this thread? It is a honor to have a VA in one of my friends threads, let alone it be the VA of Clive, the man with the best hair in the Walking Dead.

If only he had Kenny's stache he would be unstoppable!

I agree, all the walkers would drop dead at just the sight.

That would be ridiculous. Can't steal Lee's thunder, after all. Seriously, though, it has been an honor being a part of this great game. Thanks for your support!

Your very welcome and thank you for doing a great job with your character in the game.

Thank you guys.. I really appreciate that. I hope Clive is back for more, too! It was a lot of fun to "be" him.

I would love to see a scenario at the boat scene where Clive snapped and shot Vernon realising he made a mistake dealing with him (Since Clive is the one who vouched for Vernon to lead Lee back through the sewers).

He could end up at the settlement, definitely has the best chance of surviving out of the cancer survivors group, I doubt Joyce or Boyd will Last long after the Diner fell and Clive has the best chance of surviving out of them since he was the youngest by quite a bit being in his 40s and seemed fairly healthy for his age plus seemed like a guy who was willing to do what had to be done and wasn't worried about getting his hands dirty.

I have a feeling Vernon got obsessed and they tried warning him the street was over-run. However they just ditched him and he died. I hate Vernon.
