I hope season 2's PC dont store guns and stuff up his asshole this time

It really bugged me that Lee did that, I mean seriously everythang went up dat ass of his, the blowtorch, the shovel, the hunting rifle, and look at the scene where Molly hands him the battery after she comes back in episode 4, Lee clearly puts his up his ass! seriously just look! lol

I guess Telltale just didn't want to give him a backpack.

I dont care about that, i just dont like how a big ass hunting rifle just appears when he needed it lol

You've obviously never played an Adventure game before...

Improvised holsters, backpacks when needed... It'd be quite simple, well at least I guess... not like I made a game myself ever.

then again someone else would of complained about the inventory not working and the interface was stupid/clunky or badly laid out...

    bttf had a similar system

    bottom line

    IT WORKS

if it ain't broke don't fix it..

it would take so much time and effort from telltale to have holsters and rifles over the shoulder or have new animations of him lugging around large objects, admittedly it would be cool for them to do it but i don't really mind that in a game

Well then you clearly have no sense of continuity and i in actual fact pity you sir, now please, screw the hell off :)

Dat back pocket of his. It can hold everything. Must be some really high quality jeans

you clearly have no manners and no idea how long it would take to put small details like that in the game

    I know plenty

edit = and you think that a big ass rifle or shovel coming out of nowhere is a SMALL DETAIL? It kinda ruined the vibe for me, that stuff dont happen in the comics.

It takes forever to do even the smallest of things, I have never made a game but I have read enough to know it is hell.
  • edited July 2013
The story is what matters to me the most. The way Lee just puts everything in his back pocket falls under "Suspension of Disbelief" for me.

Three Words. Suspension of disbelief. Problem Solved.

Yeah, it was funny that Lee seemed to borrow the pockets of Guybrush Threepwood.

It isn't something that upset me, and the only time I really rolled my eyes and thought about the magic pockets was when Lee stuffed the whole blow torch back there.

I'd rather they focus on story and graphics instead of a realistic inventory system.

They do not need to change anything now.

    BACKPACK?

RUSSELL CONFIRMED FOR SEASON 2 PROTAGONIST!

Honestly, with the blowtouch thing, I thought that Clementine and Lee were going to carry the thing back together.

    well i disagree slightly ;)

they need to tweak the new control/qte moments introduced in 400 days..

the mouse movement with button held down is really clunky/slow /poor sensitivity.

the mouse click button and direction key info /instruction isn't on screen long enough.. should only disapear once you do the correct action.

another small issue with the 'magic ass pocket' was in ep3 lee sometimes had two guns one in his hand the other in his 'belt/pants'.

and i lol'd at lee carrying the big ass blow torch/propane tank like it was nuthin..

the lastest 'off topic' disbelief moment is fast and furious 6 airport/runway finale ;)

Lee clearly has the same pants pockets as the characters from GTA

Cue Niko Belic taking out a rocket launcher out of his crotch... to murder walkers and survive the apocalypse.

At least you don't have to choose between saving (GTA IV SPOILERS)
    Kate or Roman
though people act like it is. It isn't.

Well there are some small things that need to be tweaked a little, but I am sure they will be by the time season 2 comes around.

guys, if you ever play episode 4 again, look at the scene where Molly gives Lee the battery ( after going AWOL ) and when he takes it from her just watch what it looks like he does, it really looks like he puts it right up his ass and then just continues with everyday life, you will LOL im sure =]

Lee's ability to store mass colontraband is pretty low down on my list of 'issues' with this game, of which I have very few.
  • edited July 2013
He's a wizzard from another planet, and he can store shit in a space, that exists between worlds, through a loophole right in the depths of his ass, from where he has access to them at any time. Explanation enough?

It makes since to me, I mean I did understand Inception.

Maybe he's just able to open up tears to other dimensions (a la Bioshock Infinite). Only with his b-hole....
  • edited July 2013
It was a very confusing decision. I could understand it if there was a working inventory system and you could carry multiple weapons and choose which to use etc, but the story dictated what Lee was carrying.

For example when Lee and Mark are walking around the fence in Episode 2, Lee's axe appears randomly when he needs it. In other scenes Lee walked around carrying the axe, so why not just make this one of those scenes?

Lee's pockets are a hyperspace dimension just like Doraemon's pouch, duh.

I don't think texturing a backpack and stuff would take a long time lol.....

I know what you're saying but sometime you just have to suspend disbelief otherwise real life mechanics could have a serious impact on gameplay though there is a fine balancing act here.

Here's one for you - how did Lee and possible Omid get the oxy acetelene tank/cutter up onto that bridge, that thing must have weighed quite a bit.
