Does anyone think the TV producers might write in a character from the games?

These games are SUCH high quality and amazing story telling (like nothing i've ever seen since the intelligence that was Grim Fandango) that I think a lot of people who don't normally play games just have to be playing them. They're not really even games are they(?)

Wouldn't it be likely that at some stage they'll do the not so obvious and bring a game character to the TV? Even maybe in a Walking dead feature film (which will no doubt follow one day). I mean, walking dead makes World War Z seem like a commercial/marketing cop out.

If they did bring a character across would it be Clementine? Or would it more likely be the heroine in Molly (?) Molly could be played by a blonde haired Zooey deschanel or even the wonderfull Tatiana Matslany who will no doubt be a household name one day very soon and has proven herself as the heroine type! The number one reason why Twilight and 50 Shades marketed so well is because the most important character in them is a female (Margaret Atwoods words paraphrased, not mine!) and so it would make sense, in my eyes, that they please both the hard core Walking Dead Fans AND the general public who they have to make money off to pay for all this awesomeness! It might be art, but at the end of the day it's a business too.

My vote is for Molly, she was my favorite character anyway.

GoT:)

Not many people survived the game and are eligible to turn up elsewhere...
The people who we know survived are the people most likely to appear in Season 2...

Since the game is cannon with the comics and not the show, they characters could be written in if they wanted to. Just with all of season 1 having not happened in that version of the universe. I would say it's extremely unlikely they'll take that route though.

Unlikely since they would need Telltale's approval to even use a character, and they would need to get a hell of a actor to not piss off the fans.

Vernon in the TV show anyone?

I know he didn't die, they kept it so vague.

If he does show up in the TV or comic, I hope he dies...

    Painfully

Well I would hope he would die if he abandoned his own people, and I would hope it would be a somewhat fast death, only Lilly deserves a slow painful death in by book.

I wouldn't be a fan of having the game characters shown anywhere BUT the games. Likewise, I think it'd be best if each character from the comic or TV show stay in their separate universe, not crossing over to the game.

I truly think that we'll see more TV stuff come into the game (like Ep 1 with Glenn and Hershel), but no, I doubt we'll see any game stuff in the TV show.

I know Telltale's FAQ says that the game is canon to the comics, but I don't believe there's anything that contradicts the TV series, is there?

I consider the game to take place in both "universes."

Hershel's farm is the only contradictory thing, I think. The layout is completely different in the TV show, and also Shawn is Hershel's step-son, not actual son like in the comics world.

Hershel is younger in the comics, and he was also younger in the game, so I will say it's still with the comics.
