I think what Carley tried to say is that Lilly should learn a few things from Lee by helping people and not being a total bitch .

She said take a page from Lee's book and trying helping somebody for once meaning that she thought Lee was helpful and a caring person. It's a metaphorical book.

Lilly should have taken the whole damn book, not a few pages, but it would not have mattered anyway since she does not learn anything other then being a bitch.

It means "act more like Lee and try to help people for once".

Which as said before would never have happened because it is Lilly we are talking about.

Justin says the same line if you choose to let Vince stay silent when the guard starts waving the shotgun in your direction.
