Kenny's Fate

Hey guys, long time viewer and first time poster here :D

I'd like to just express my joy at hearing that Kenny's fate will be explored in Season 2, as Kenny was one of my favorite survivors in Season 1. I have predicted for a while that Kenny could be the new PC in Season 2, because despite the Kenny-haters both his deaths are ambiguous and he definitely has unresolved business (payback on Vernon and the cancer survivors, discovering Lee and Clementine's fate, etc.).

What do ya'll think? Would Kenny as the PC be a great way to tie in S1 decisions and continue to shape a character we (some of us) already love, or is this still a long shot for me (and Ken)? :confused:

    I would love to have Kenny be the PC, some people would not like it but it works well, I mean you just survived hell and Clem is the only family you have left, so being nice a option, but Kenny can be real mean so being a dick is a option, you could mold his personality to what you want like Lee, since he is a changed man after everything that went down, and Kenny would know people like Vernon or Lilly and was there with Lee with most of the major choices, so the choices would not be forgotten.

    Kenny wouldn't be a good PC, since we've already gotten to know him and have survived alongside him for all of Season 1. Plus, tons of people hate him, and would hate to play as him. That would be like making us play as Larry after Episode 1. But I would love to see him appear again, alive. Since he was the only person aside from Clem who was with us for the entire Season, he'd be a great pick to make sure the new PC knows about Lee and his choices. Here's hoping he appears, alive and well, but also as an NPC.

    I guess that would work to, just seeing him alive will be the best moment of 2013, and seeing him be a walker is unbearable and I it would be the stuff of nightmares.

    Well there are different routes Kenny can go as far as his personality and relationships with others go in S1, and by having the player know his history we could then decide whether to play as a redemptive Kenny or continue being a vengeful asshole Kenny. I just see him as having a lot of potential as far as how the player could shape him and still retain S1 decisions. But good point, many players would hate to be forced into playing as him. A new character may be wiser.

    And if it weren't for Larry's heart problems, he could have made a decent PC or at least a more major character. I still fantasize about what would have happened to the St. John's if the Larry broke free. :D

    That would have been a ton of fun to watch, I would have grabbed some popcorn and watched it with glee.

    I would love to see Kenny in season 2 (alive ofcourse, if he appears as a walker and I have to kill him I'll crawl into a corner and cry). I'm glad they'll at least reveal what happened to him, I've been in denial about his death for months so I'd like some closure :P

    I've been in denial too, I even went as far as to contact Gavin Hammon and ask him his opinion haha. The only thing is, I don't know if I could handle seeing Kenny "die" again, or just show up as a damn walker.

    I guess I never went over denial, been there since November 23, 2013, and now it's almost August and I still believe he made it.

    Me neither buddy (awesome name by the way, just like mine, not biased at all) I don't want Kenny to be dead nor do I believe it. I don't want to see him dead, I want him to be alive. I will never give up believing he is alive.

    Vernon was a f***ing bi***, the moth******* was with Lee all the time for the fu**ing boat, I wish if I got the chance to kill him.

    some people are saying vernon is still alive and the cancer survivors only lost track of him.

    i do hope to see a vernon walker at least.
