Never! when its done its done! Geez no one has patience on these forums.
You've been here less than a month and you already know how TWD game sub-forum is. The only thing that was more serious than this were when some immature people were clamoring for episodes 3 and 4 to come out last year. Dark times.

Oh god those were dark times. Back when people realized the game was taking longer to make than advertised and not monthly. I support however long it takes though, even with giving us S2 deets. I want it to be good, and I want to be surprised.
Those were the dark ages of the Walking Dead, I first thought it was going to be a month, I was not happy when it turned into 2 months, I stopped complaining when I saw how amazing Episode 2 was.
They should have given us something a month ago. Seriously, TellTale is not a very interactive company with its consumers which is fine but The Walking Dead is clearly their "cash cow" right now. It would have been smart to reveal SOME info about season 2 to entice us just a bit. The fact they havnt shown us ANYTHING is recognition that we are no where near close to Season 2. Ill say maybe by late October if I had to guess.

Its not a matter of being surprised. I think what most of us want is either a very short teaser trailer or just an anticipated release date (which naturally will not be held to but still...)
I want to be surprised too but I think NO ONE can disagree to not wanting a little teaser trailer that will reveal no plot just a little bit to get the juices flowing

This is probably true.
Personally, I'm quite contented with 400 Days and the confirmation that Clementine returns in some capacity in S2. I don't really need anything else.
Although, I wouldn't say no if it was offered
I agree also, 400 Days was enough for me, and knowing Clem is confirmed back and we will know about Kenny's fate is good enough, but I will not say no to more information, as long as it does not spoil anything.

In my not-so-humble opinion I don't feel any need for a trailer. Teaser images and release date are all that's needed.
Information about consoles and save transfers would be great, however.
this friday telltale will release a statement that a trailer for the walking dead season 2 will be released SOON. later that day half-life 3 will be released.(sarcasm!!!) in all seriousness we should see something from them soon.
I hope they don't make a big trailer for season 2. I'll be waaaaay too tempted to watch it like I did with episode 5's. And frankly, that trailer was a spoiler minefield, especially for Kenny's fate.
I know, I never looked at the trailers nor did I come here when the did release the trailers, and I saw Episode 5's trailer, shit almost every scene is a spoiler, so if they do release a trailer for season 2 if better be very unspoliersh or I am sadly going to have to leave for a few months, and it was really hard to stay away during the wait for 400 Days.

As for actual info, I'd say a few weeks before release sounds best.
