Larry
Was smashing in Larry's head really the right thing to do?
I tried to get along with the guy but when I came down to It I sided with Kenny in the meat locker. I still kinda feel bad for what happened
Anyone else think this was a dick move?

This was the reason I began to hate Kenny as just because I wouldn't murder a man he ignores everything I had done for him in the past...
This is exactly the reason I sided with Kenny. I didn't like Larry, and he was a huge dick to everyone, but I only killed him because if he turned, everyone would have died. It was a crappy choice either way. (Crappy in a good way, I mean. My favorite choice of the game because it was so hard.)
Larry ultra super mega hairy asshole
In the end, intent matters. I think that killing him out of desperation is more understandable than doing it to remorselessly get rid of him, or just to earn Kenny's admiration.
yeah, they only confirmed what everybody who has tried saving him saw and that was that his jaw moved a bit and that could mean anything, he may not have been technically brain dead at the point kenny slammed the salt lick onto his head, but he was dead
People start to look more like a walker when they reanimate, though. Larry seemed normal. But yeah, nothing is confirmed.
I could have saved him...
He wasn't a dead body yet and I did see him start to mumble...
He may have not survived I know that but he wasn't dead yet and he may have been able to have survive...
Even if he hadn't Kenny and Lee with a Salt lick at the ready could have taken him and Lilly would have seen a walker been slain rather than her dad be brutally murdered...
It isn't that quick to get back up again from lying down, dying...
I don'y really think lack of food can really be used as an excuse...
I backed Kenny up when he thought Duck wasn't bitten and defended him so I did the same for Larry when he was in trouble...
Larry may be bigger but those Salt Licks are powerful weapons and if it had failed it could be dealt with...
Just like Lee said we could deal with Duck if the worst comes to the worst Larry even as a threat would not be that much more difficult than the Teacher which was dealt with...
the teacher/travis took 3 people to take down and they had real weapons, larry was incredibly big and strong and if he did get up a salt lick to the head would just make him stumble not crush his skull, if lilly was able/willing (probably not) to help in the fight there would be 3 people to wrestle him to the ground and then one of them would have to smash his skull with a salt lick, it could possibly be done but the potential for bites and injury would be high and there would be a chance Clementine would get hurt, so taking the risk he presents and his slim chance of recovery into account kenny was right to want to take him out
Larry left me, maybe you got me wrong or i mis-spoke :P
That is what I was trying to say.
If they had known and been ready they could have killed him easily...
Larry may be strong but he was lying on the floor and if he died they could hit him before he could cause serious damage...
I still stand by and say we could have saved him...
I stand by if he had died we would at least have the advantage and he could have been dealt with before anyone got hurt...
Even if Larry had died Lilly's reaction would be different and that could completely change the actions of episode 3...
The right thing may be scary but the scarier thing would be to be a hero who saves the dying man not the Judge, Jury and executioner
Kenny forgot my Lee almost immediately and takes all the credit for saving his family when he did nothing but hinder their future survival
We will never know what would have happened but any walker can be dealt with and saying Larry would be such a threat is no different than Larry's argument for throwing out Duck...
Cut me real deep.
