something that bugs me about episode 1

Ok, if you choose to leave Clems house at night you run into officer Mittchel instead of Chet, he is a police officer and you as Lee have found a child without her parents during a time where people are acting crazy, what would be the logical thing to do in that situation? Yes Lee may not have wanted to give him a chance to figure out who he was, but still.......

    Yeah but the Cop was actually there..Just mentioning it could have been a good idea especially so early on in the outbreak...

    But the story would be nothing without Clementine, we couldn't leave her the police officer because it wasn't a game option.

    Maybe Lee wanted to keep her out of danger, and since the guy was a cop, he'd probably be going back into Atlanta to help out the rest of the police/military at the evacuation zones? Well, whatever he was doing, he was probably going to be going into some VERY dangerous situations soon.

    Everyone's dying, I don't see why abandoning Clem to a man with duties would be a good thing. Would his badge protect her better than Lee did? There's the option of saying "I'm just some random guy" I thought, and the officer didn't jump in to take care of her like you're suggesting.
