Have you noticed that Cissy Jones - Katjaa, Brie, Dee, Shel voice actor. Cissy voiced Shel SAME voice as she voiced Katjaa? Why? Why she didn't tried to make a voice more younger? I mean Katjaa is a 45 + age woman, Shel is a young 20-23 years old girl.
I don't get it. I have nothing against Cissy, I admire her, she voiced the most part of female characters in the game, she's amazing voice actor! But I want, no, I NEED to voice Shel became younger.

  • It's so freaking cool when the voice actors come on the forums!!

Brian. Please, open the secret for us: do you plan to continue to voice characters of this game?

    Humble too! :P

I absolutely agree re: "These characters are a compilation of many fine folks."

And I appreciate your thoughts on Danny (lots of us think there was something very 'amiss' pre walker apocalypse too) and hearing about the effort that went in to getting Danny's porridge just right, is pretty damn telling. Telltale seem super committed to getting the content and expression of their character's spot on.

All the best to you too :)

....oops looks like I rambled on too long and my post was cut off, so here is the rest..... ..... have been impressed with all of them. So

  • Zev_Zev there are some pesky little things in the biz known as NDAs (non disclosure agreements). Most games developers have us sign these documents after a recording session. They make sure us silly ol' actors don't 'spill the beans' about any details of the game before they are officially announced. However, I can certainly answer general questions. A category into which your question falls. The brief answer is "Yes". As I have stated, Telltale is a great developer to work for, so I will always want to be a part of their projects. The process for selecting the actors to voice new characters remains the same. Telltale will send audition sheets (sometimes referred to as "sides") to the talent agencies. The agency will send those auditions out to the actors who they represent that may fit the bill. We record our auditions, send them back, and they are reviewed by the staff at Telltale. Once that is done, a selection is made.

While I am not currently slated to be voicing any new characters for The Walking Dead, there are always new auditions coming out, and new games being developed. One such game is The Wolf Among Us, and I will be providing a voice for a character in that game. Since the game has been announced I am free to say that I will be voicing Colin the pig. I hope the game will be as well received as The Walking Dead was. Knowing Telltales staff of talented geniuses, I have no doubt that it will. Enjoy.
