The reasons.
1.He said that to Katjaa.
2.He was mad at her death.
3.He allways looked at her.
4.She trusted him.
5.He trusted her.
6.When she kissed him,he smiled.

Don't think anyone has ever disputed the fact that Lee liked Carley have they?

Seeing how Lee's character is at least somewhat up to us, I guess liking Carley or not is also up to us. I suppose if you choose the "I think about you too" line when talking to her, you indeed confirm that your Lee is fond of Car. You can also choose to admit it to Katja later, which, I suppose, reinforces it further. Ultimately it's up to you, but I have actually yet to see anyone NOT to choose those lines in "Let's play"s, so I don't know how the conversation proceeds if you don't tell her that.

You can tell he likes what he sees in episode 1. The look on his face any time you talk to her in the pharmacy is hilarious and transparent!

Heh, yup, I've started my second playthrough and noticed that too. The very first thing he says to her when you approach her "you're a pretty good shot", all while smirking suavely kinda gives away interest.

It's up to us to tell if Lee liked her or not. In some dialogues, you can actually say you like her. But anyway, I think Lee liked her (but not in the "love" way), they just understood each other and it was good for Lee to have someone whom he could talk to.
