Lol yeah I loved Lee's reaction in that scene. I was pretty angry myself, though! :p But then I realized that Chuck was just trying to help, and I cooled down haha.

Yeah and if you choose the aggressive talk: "say it to me asshole, what you say to my girl".
"Telling a little girl she's gonna die. You wanna scare someone scare me motherfucker"

He doesn't even say mother fucker lol, it sounds more like "Mo fucka" which makes it even better :P

I had spent most of the game being nice to everyone, but I was aggressive with Chuck on the train. I got pissed about him making Clem upset, and I was already mad about Carley dying and Duck bitten, so I went off on him. I took a drink though when he offered, so I was cool with him after that.

It was such a dumb thing to do, I mean he has more than redeemed himself and had good points to make. But straight after a little girl's friend (as well as Katjaa the same day and Carley the night before) died and not to mention she has already gone through a whole load of shit, you tell her she's gonna die too just like her friend did? Not cool, there are so many other ways Chuck could of gone around that situation such as speak to Lee about teaching Clem to survive or explaining more of what he meant to Clem herself and that she can prevent getting hurt by cutting her hair, learning to use a gun, etc...

That entire scene is the reason I dislike Chuck, and was extremely glad when he died relatively soon after meeting him. He went out of his way to terrify a kid when the sensible thing to do would've been to talk to Lee directly. How did he even know Clementine would confide in Lee? It wasn't like he'd known the group long enough to understand the relationship the two have.

But I guess Chuck saved Clems life just as much as Lee did, if he had never told Lee to teach Clementine, then she might died in Savannah.

Yeah but later it might turn her into something .... horrible .

If that becomes the case then, well then I don't know who to blame for that.

Except he had no apparent intention of telling Lee to teach Clementine anything at all, otherwise he'd have approached Lee directly. As it stands, one of his first defining moments as a character is terrifying a very young girl for utterly no reason.

Well that's just the thing. He doesn't see her as a little girl. He just sees her as "alive." He doesn't want to sugar coat his words to Clementine any more than he would his words to Lee or anyone else. That's the whole point of his speech.

Still kind of dick move but the thought is there.

But why did any words need to be said to Clementine at all? Lee is the one he should have spoken to. If Clementine hadn't confided in Lee - again, something Chuck could not possibly have known she'd have done - then nothing would have changed.

Of course she was going to tell Lee. Chuck saw how close they were. And he told Clementine first because he wanted her to think about it for herself. He wants to treat her like an adult. If you think that an adult is doing something that might be dangerous to them, you tell them about it. Then they can decide what to do with that information. It's like a harsh form of respect to him.

I was going to say Lilly, but that makes way more sense.
