What happened to Jolene's video camera?

This came to my mind when I was replaying Episode 2 yesterday. Towards the end Lee regains the camera and Carley or Doug get it working. In my playthrough, Carley told Lee to keep the camera to "document his thoughts on". However, it's not seen or mentioned anywhere in further episodes. Since some time passes between Ep 2 and 3, I expect Lee would have put something on that camera. If so, where do you think it is? Maybe there's a slim chance some other survivors will discover it in Season 2, as an easter egg of sorts. It would be nice to see Lee's group again, if he did ever record anything with the camera.

Yeah good question,I like to hope Clem has it and will look at from time to time and that it will be like a diary for Lee where he documents his thoughts and fears and stuff. If not Clem maybe the season 2 Protagonist will come across it,I definitely think it would be a wasted opportunity if they don't do anything with it,plus be great excuse to get Dave Fennoy back in season 2 even if for only a little bit.

I thought Lee would use it to leave Clem advice or a message in case something happened to him. Possibly left at the motor inn?

    I really like that idea.

This. I'm guessing it's in the hands of some bandit now.

Myself I think it's most likely at the Motor inn, but Lee could have also handed it to Carley offscreen, so maybe it's on her body. In which case it's unlikely to be found. Either way, it would be delightful for it to be found and discover a recording with the original cast. Even if it's a slim chance that any of the voice actors would come back for a cameo this small. It would go straight up the feels if they did though.

Wow, that's a great idea man. Really hoping Telltale will do that. :)

I can't be the only one who's thought of this, can I? :D

As great as it sounds, though, it's unlikely that whatever's on that video camera would have voices, apart from possibly Lee. Still, it's a hell of a lot better than nothing! Really hope Telltale will exploit this opportunity. A "return to the motel" level would be great, packed with good memories.

Imagine that, finding the Motel all screwed up with dead body's everywhere, the saves could remember if that balcony is broken or not, and you could find the camera and maybe have a few survivors like Lee and Kenny's family or Carley in the video, combine that with seeing the old place it would be a really sad moment, you have my permission to do this Telltale.

It certainly escaped me and I pride myself on thinking (or overthinking) about things like this.

I would get a huge kick out of something similar to this happening :)

If only. I think there wouldn't be a single fan who would disagree with that idea, but, being a realist, I don't see them bringing the voice actors back for just one scene. As much as I want for something like that to happen. Unless, of course, the voice actors from Season 1 would be voicing other characters in Season 2, in which case, it certainly wouldn't be a big hastle to reprise their roles as old characters in addition.

I would really like it, but the odds are unlikely, but still anything can happen.
