Black UI and Tips In-Game

While I am playing The Walking Dead, the UI and tooltips are black, not white like they should be. It's not a game-breaking issue, but it does make the cursor much harder to see during dark and poorly-lit scenes. I'm not entirely sure what the problem is, because when I play the game on my other computer, the UI is white. Does anybody know why this happens?

    You have a very old integrated graphics chip, which is most likely the cause of this issue.
    Installing a recent Nvidia/AMD graphics card should fix it.

    Thank you. On a hunch, I flipped my graphics quality from low to high. The UI turned back to white, but I took a performance hit as a result. I balanced some other settings out to compensate, and now I'm running fairly good. Thanks for the help! :)
