If Carley/Doug never died . Lee and Carley would become a couple ?

So yeah , if Carley/Doug never died , would Lee and Carley become a couple and possibly Clem's new parents and maybe saving Lee from his fate ?
It seemed that back at the Motor Inn before the bandits came in , Lee and Carley showed that they care about each other and of course Carley's kiss and after her death , Lee told Katjaa that he was fond of her .

    Yes they would, and you just explained why yourself. What concerns the couple thing anyway. About saving Lee from his fate, who knows. Maybe if they had an extra pair of RELIABLE eyes to watch over Clem while Lee isn't there, the Stranger abduction would have never happened, and Lee would not have gotten bit. But we'll never know now.

    By the way, if Doug never died, then Carley and Lee would have even less of a chance to become a couple, what with her not making it past episode 1 :D

    I really hope so. Before Carley died,she did kiss his cheek.
    and i think it'll change a lot.

    Seems to me all of you would like this fanfic. It was my favorite until the whole plot was focused on CarLee.

    I don't think the plot is just focused on CarLee because it's also focused on everybody . If it was only about CarLee we would have many scenes with Lee and Carley and less with Clementine , Kenny , Ben and the rest .

    If the question was whether both Carley and Doug survived, then chances are Carley would have initially been interested with Doug but eventually moved on to Lee.

    I wonder how Doug would feel if that were the case...

    I think Doug would of been jealous of Lee and it would be funny to see them as rivals for Carley's heart :D . but considering he is a nice guy he would of understood Carley's feelings and let her do what she wants .

    Then eventually one of them would die, and then another one, ending the romance for good. This is Walking Dead after all :/

    yeah it was a pity in some circumstances that the story doesn't pan out into even more wider story arcs but i guess then they'd be HUUUUGE episodes and not as small to download and stuff.
