Wireless Controller not recognized or "Oh my god why do I have windows 8?"
Help, I'm using an Xbox 360 Controller and the Game doesn't properly recognize it"
After finally getting the game to run by inserting DINPUT8.dll the game didn't recognize the controller at all.
Then I toggled "show Xbox buttons" in the menu on and off, and voilà, it was recognized.
Well, everything but the Analog sticks.
Yes, I have the official "Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows" Installed.
Yes, the controller Is working and connected (I tried it in other games).
Yes, I tried turning it off and on again.
So is there a proper solution to this, or will I never come around to playing that game?
