Lee - Best Character Ever

edited September 2013 in The Walking Dead
I think that Lee Everett is the best character Ever, and he couldn't die like this... He wouldn't get bit that way... I really want to see him again in season 2. You just can't get the main character killed like that...

Really best character of video games history die like that? I think decision with cutting arm off should matter something... Or the bite was a dream like a zombie clem in rv... Just want to see him once again with full his energy. I can't imagine new PC for season 2... He was the only one PC that i can stand in twd. When i was playing 400 days i didn't care for the new characters...

Your words speak the truth my friend. The game wouldn't be the same without Lee. But still people die, after all this is the walking dead.

I don't think anybody got revived in history of Walking Dead. It probably wouldn't be true to the series. I would love Lee to return though.

It is a shame that he died only 3 months or so into the apocalypse, but at least he died saving a little girl.

    Like Chuck did...
Yeah it's a shame, some characters from 400 days survived longer , even if they are weaker than the old group... Really want to see him back ;]

    I feel the same way.

I would like to see him back just as much as anyone here, just like I wanted Carley to live past the RV segment, but I know that nether will ever be back alive, it's just something we have to live with and I so wish it was not the case.

I'm thinking Telltale is going to give us a character that just as good if not better than Lee. Or at least one can hope.
  • edited August 2013
Maybe it will be like the Rick in the TV series someone going crazy and they start seeing people. Which was a stupid part if you ask me.

I don't know if I'll get attached to the new protagonist the same way I got attached to Lee, but any major retcons with his death will just be an insult to the first season's finale.
  • edited August 2013
If you did not cuff Lee to the pipe then maybe you will see him as a walker.
  • edited August 2013
Which would be worse then seeing him alive, emotionally anyway, I can not even look at the picture of Carley on the side of the road, so good luck if Kenny or Lee walker shows up.

Yeah, Lee is the perfect character. Nice Voice, his behavior... Just season 2 won't be the same without him... I don't think they'll make BETTER character cause this is just impossible.

Nobody can watch Clementine like Lee did...risk his life for her...
  • edited August 2013
Yeah... i would love to see him in season 2. The best character ever, best Kenny's Friend.

I understand why they killed him off at the end, but I do wish that he could have lived longer, and I think finding a protagonist that is as good as Lee is very hard, and finding a better one is really impossible, he did that good a job, ticks me off that he did not win best male character in the Video Game Awards, but they are kind of bullshit anyway.

Anyone else seriously hoping the whole Lee getting bit and dying was a DREAM?
just still in denial I guess :(
  • edited August 2013
Sadly still in denial for you, I never denied that he or Carley was dead, I just knew, but I fiercely defend Kenny because he could be alive.

Have the same feeling bro. Want him to survive this and hope it was only a dream.

Have you guys heard of the purgatory theory, which states that Lee wasn't real?
  • edited August 2013
Well... Um how do I put this.... He's a video game character, he was never real :D
  • edited August 2013
I think the people who thought of that are a little of the crazy side, no offense to anyone that believes it.
  • edited August 2013
Haha I don't believe it either, its just interesting to note that the story is so well written that fans can be making such theories and discussing every little aspect of the writing (like all of us do).

It was just luck of the draw I guess,Lee got it pretty bad while the 400 Days survivors have made it a lot longer,I am not saying they had it easy because we don't know that but, well yeah.

Lee and Co did get it extremely bad, if any of the 400 Days survivors had met the St. John's I doubt they would have made it out alive (except maybe Vince or Wyatt, because he's so paranoid). Lee made the best out of all the shit he went through, but in the end even he could not escape being bitten.

Yeah, but i think that walker in the trash was so obvious . I knew he was there so i go check it first. I would like him to survive...

This is why you don't go outside during a zombie apocalypse while you're still drowsy. Lee should've had a cup of coffee first.

Yeah, i'll remember that :d i Won't go outside during a zombie apocalypse while i'm still drowsy, and looking for a little girl.

I think it was a mix of just waking up, and the fear of Clem being gone came before safety.

It is really luck, I mean what if Rick met the Saint Johns, then they would be dead because Carl is not Clementine, it's all luck.

Yeah. I think similiar situation would be if Rick had fight with Molly like Lee did. He would be probably dead
  • edited August 2013
You see, it's all luck, maybe a little bit of skill but as you said, 90% luck, if Lee had done what Rick had done then he might still be alive, and if Rick did what Lee did then he would be dead, luck.

    20% skill

I think it's mostly luck, which if that is the case then I am going to die so fast, I must be the most unluckiest person on my street.
  • edited August 2013
That is me in a nutshell, not good.
  • edited August 2013
i say keep him dead. yeah, he was a good character and will sorely be missed but i hate cheap comebacks more than anything. I mean if lee isn't dead than anyone has the potential of coming back and that ruins everything. no longer will you be sad when someone dies because you'll think "there's always a possibility." No! He's dead. Accept it and move on with your life.

the only condition i would like to lee again is as a zombie. Maybe we can chain him up and keep him as a pet or something.
  • edited August 2013
I agree, he was amazing in all, and I wish they did not kill him, but what's done is done, dead, dies, will die apples here.
  • edited August 2013
Anyway i hope they'll make that into a dream or something like that.
