I got a feeling that by the end Clementine will be the only survivor of the Macon group, hell she might be dead by the end, but Christa will not make it to the end, even Kenny might not make it to the end if he even is still alive.

I will always save Clem over everyone,Hell I'd choose her over saving myself(the Protagonist).

Christa would stink-face the shit out of you if you saved her over Clem Clem.

I have a feeling that by season 2, Christa will already have had her baby. Both her and the baby will most likely die, being the saddest part of the season.

Imo, Clem dies, the game dies.

Yeah well we all felt like we were Lee,and as long as Clem is alive Lee is still alive in spirit because she is doing what he thought her and what not,she is Lee's Legacy,if she dies then Lee is truly dead and his legacy gone with it.

No, it won't. There'd be less than 10 people who'd save Christa over Clem in any situation.

No brainer. Clementine all the way. At least, that's what I, as a player, would choose. I never got too attached to Christa. Of the group members that featured in episodes 4-5 she was probably my least favorite character. Even less so than Vernon, who I kinda liked up until the point he stole the boat. Call me heartless, but unless Season 2 features enough of Christa for me to truly bond with her, I won't bat an eyelash at her death. Even less so at her baby, who won't even be a character to bond with for a while. And to choose either over Clementine? No way.

On the other hand, I'm not yet sure what the new protagonist's relationship will be with Clem or Christa. From a roleplay perspective, it may make more sense for the new protagonist to save Christa. Even so, hell if I'm making that choice. Not if the alternative is Clementine.

Ugh, that would be horrible if you had to choose. I'd obviously save Clem because she's the most awesome character ever and a young child has a better chance of surviving than a newborn baby, but I'd feel like shit making that choice. Apart from ruining Omid's life, I really started to like Christa after episode 4. Cutting of Lee's arm while Kenny pussies out, keeping her cool and helping Lee lead the group while Kenny is crying about his boat, I really got attached to her and Omid after being stuck with crazy assholes the whole game.

The majority would probably be Clem. This is a little one-sided.

Yeah, I can't see anyone letting Clem die, other than the few people who hate her to death for some reason. I doubt anyone would be happy about letting Christa die though.

Saving Clementine. It would be a very ugly, do not think is well seen. :(

    This is true.

Though I don't like it if Clem had to die no matter what it would just go beyond being sad and people would be more annoyed and the series would just stop. In the final season whenever that is I would like her fate to be determinant though.

Oh and this choice would never happen as everyone would pick Clem, it's the same reason Larry and Ben were never part of a decision as the player would always pick the other option.

Personally if it starts after season 1 (or soon after anyway) I think we will play as Christa.

Which in all honesty might not be a bad thing...I mean I want a second season as much as the next person, but I think a 3rd season might be pushing it.

What makes you say that? I think exactly the opposite. Walking Dead seems like one of those universes which could potentially go on forever without dumbing things down. While other fictional universes struggle with inventing new villains or things to fight for after the previous ones expire, Walking Dead has a set enemy- zombies, which will never run out. There's nothing to re-invent. And, contrary to the generic zombie media, this series is not at it's core about zombies, it's about human drama. Which means, so long as there's a single living person left in the word, there WILL be stories to tell. I mean, sure, EVENTUALLY it's gonna get boring, but not for a long while yet.

Must save Clem at all costs. I might hate myself for it but eveything I did in Season 1 can't have been for nothing.

Lee would save Clem, why would the new protagonist do the same? I mean i want to, but we will have to deal with a protagonist that isnt as close to Clem as Lee used to be :)

Christa isn't an important enough character to be an end death or choice and will probably die around Episode 3 in order to increase the depression half way through the series...
    Clementine on the other hand...
She will probably die Episode 5 of possibly (If it is Telltale's plan) may survive to die in another Season...

cthulu, rick has survived 3/4 seasons on tv as well karl

so why not clem ? if she is shielded from walkers it's pretty easy.

Other wise clem dies = game over you die screen simple.

Because after a while, the plot armor on clem is going to seem hammy. If there is no threat of her actually dying, it's going to get old fast.

See above response. I mean hell, rick lost his hand and carl lost an eye in the comics...there was actual threat to their lives.

Plot armor on Clem keeps her from dying. It doesn't need to keep her from getting hurt or traumatized. We don't need straight up amputations to keep the tension going. People freaked out when Clem lost her hat. And there's still plenty more they can do to her. From strictly a writer's standpoint (I cannot emphazise this enough), I wouldn't mind seeing her get shot in a non-vital area or break something or get really sick. It also doesn't even have to be about Clem. Lee's story was about Clem because he was her guardian. Who's to say the new character can't have their own agenda, with Clem just being a side-story.

depending on how season 2 works is it like s1 a set path through out or are they going to do a 400 days style choose your guy or gal /mission/story selection..

she wants to help so will probably make us take her and if we don't we get the stink eye.

Yeah i didn't say that cos i thought it was obvious ;)

but yeah she can totally get injured/hurt maybe be close to death and look like she will die but they get help for her and she survives and becomes stronger for it or they can make her suffer for a while and we have to use up resources to care for her which others in the group may not like..thus making the game harder... kinda like do you try and save david or leave him...
