Molly is a frickin' ninja, remember when she teleported behind Lee in ep. 4??
Never saw Nate pulling off moves like that, and his truck is noisy while Molly is fast and can leap across rooftops.
The only thing Nate has going for him is the fact that he is crazy and willing to do things others wouldn't.

Haha, agreed, but with Molly you don't really know how long she had been surviving. She seemed to have acquired parkour skills before the apocalypse, and according to a time line, was only about 4 months into the apocalypse (she had lived in Crawford before, so she hadn't been surviving alone for long)
However, Nate was last seen 6 months into the apocalypse. He had no direction, which suggests since his friend was shot he had been travelling for 143 consecutive days on his own with really no prior knowledge on surviving. Sure, Molly was a ninja, but he was controlling and crazy. He even knows this himself when he determinately quotes with Russell:
Russell: You can't make me do anything.
Nate: All right. We both know that isn't true.
Think about this: Molly had her limits. She couldn't let Clementine die and wouldn't kill Lee when Clementine tells her not to. She also lets many things go, like when Lee and Kenny trying to kill her. Nate, however, would never let any of this happen. He would of murdered them then and there like the old couple, Eddie and Wyatt. Molly, even if she had a gun, is less dangerous than Nate if he had an icepick.
Molly survives off Strategy and common sense, while Nate is just plain shoot'em up. I think molly is someone you can grow to trust to make the right decisions, with Nate watch your back.
They are both lethal but if I had to choose to live in a world of Molly survivors or a world of Nate survivors .then I would stand and fall with Molly.
I actually liked both characters, Molly because I have a soft spot for "ninja girls" (I used to watch Buffy and Xena back in the 90's) and Nate because he's cool in a reckless psycho way. And those are actually the two characters I would love to see in Season 2.
In any case we know how far Molly is willing to go to ensure the survival of those she loves and besides that she has good acrobatic and fighting skills. While Nate is probably willing to do every kind of atrocities to save his own life, I believe that his reckless character might cause his own undoing.
