Settlement vs. Camp: Any ideas how that play out?

edited August 2013 in The Walking Dead
So at the end of the 400 Days DLC, the entire group votes on whether or not to go with Tavia to the settlement. Depending on your actions throughout the DLC and the dialogue chosen with Tavia, either the entire group can go to the settlement, everyone except Bonnie can remain in the camp, or the survivors can be divided between the settlement and the camp.

Any thoughts on what the significance of that might be in Season 2?

I think everyone will end up at settlement either way, kinda like it doesn't matter who you have with you in episode 5 you all end up as a group fairly quickly anyways. Whoever stays behind at camp may be attacked by bandits then flees to the settlement.

Based on my belief that the next season's protagonist is going to be Shel (I explain my reasons in another thread), I'm hoping that depending on whether she goes or leaves, you'll have two completely different scenarios to start the game off.

Too many possibilities. Settlement seems to be more important. Still, Bonnie may be important part of story or just an excuse to show that Tavia's job isn't pointless. Anything can happen.

Shel's death would be interesting. What Becca would do without her? Without moral compass? We would see if choices from Shel's story really mattered.
Wyatt can be confronted with Eddie. Not too friendly. Can blame us for leaving him. It is possible.
Nate can already be member of settlement. Would it be possible for Russel/Wyatt to convince people that he is dangerous?

You sound a bit like Mordin from the Mass Effect series with how you wrote all of that :D

Holy hell you are right, that whole post sounded like good old Mordin Solus from Mass Effect, now all we need you is to sing scientist Salarian.

I study xenoscience species from asari to agrarian, I am the very model of a scientist salarian! Why do you have to make a genocide to save him? :(

I know, rest his poor soul, he was always funny, talking at 20 miles per hour and always acting like he is right, good times, good times.

Well, Tavia did say that she's not going to come back to the campsite for a while. My guess is whoever was left back at the camp will join the group during the second or third episode of the season.

If you read it really fast it's like something Mordin would say!

Oh Mordin, you sly bastard. Breaking Omega's only rule in more ways than one was really just icing on the cake of Awesome. Not even Shepard managed to get that puss tonight.

I'd really like at least an episode or more to have them split up or even a permanent split (that might just be wishful thinking). Anyway who even knows if we start off after 400 days, nothings confirmed it may be a whole season until that point.

I doubt the choice will result in any of them dying but a few different scenes would be nice.

I know right, such a great guy, one of my favorite characters in the last two Mass Effects, that one level in 3 was my favorite for one reason.

Mordin and Kasumi were my favorite ME characters, two total badasses :D

I know right, so many great characters, it sucks knowing that the forth Mass Effect will not have any of these characters.
