Justin is a sissy I liked Danny better but I wanted to give Vince a shot to impress me. Danny is tougher and he is a survivalist. Justin took a look at blood and threw up.
I do not know enough about Roman kind of a boring character.
Huh. Woulda thought the Steph-murdering would have earned him some points with you. I mean all you know about Oberson is that he offed himself when the shit hit the fan. And I guess the whole murdering children thing. Meh.
I like him because of what he did it was smart and it helped them survive until Molly's sister stabbed the doctor Stephanie could be alive for all we know (unlikely) but possible.
For a good balance between survival and humanity, I’d go with the group I made for my “Build Clementine a Family” thread (Lee, Katjaa, Molly, Shel, Chuck, and obviously Clementine). But if I’m just prioritizing survival:
-Lee. More or less leads the group and he's just badass
-Clem. So Lee has an extra reason to fight.
-Doug. This guy is underrated. He's brave, smart and funny.
-Justin. I really like him, even if I'm the first to aknowledge he's a jerk. But he can help the group negotiate, which is a very useful skill.
-Shel. She is very caring about the group's well-being and she's level-headed.
-Becca. Because her and her sister need to stay together plus a kid to stay with Clem! (maybe she's a bit too old for that.)
P.S: I think Ekhay chose Danny because Justin wouldn't hurt people, especially children. And because Justin threw up once on the bus.
Best chance of survival: Christa, Lee, Vince. Omid or Doug for comedic relief - it is a MUST. Doug has a shitload of smarts too and probably would have toughened up nicely, had he not been cut down.
Katjaa's medical skills are invaluable. Vernon would be ideal of course, but I hate his stupid grimacing face.
I should include Kenny. He's a tough sonofabitch, and I love the guy, but I could not abide by boat-talk or pissy attitude when things don't go his way.
+ Mark.
Or, a band of Chucks: Wisdom, whiskey, tunes and shovels..... shovels everywhere.
Lee- a figure to inspire people and he's good at keeping morale up. A sort of leader figure, but not a dictator by any means.
Carley- I have already explained in probably more than a dozen different threads why I like her.
Kenny- a good friend for Lee, and one who would keep his good guy mentality from becoming a detriment to the group. Kenny in the game always advocated Lee to make the decisions that, while morally questionable, were in the best interest of the group (see: killing Larry, looting supplies, leaving the girl, dropping Ben, etc). Lee is a great person, but unless he has Kenny to be the voice of reason, his morality might end up hurting the group.
Mark- he'd basically make a Lilly type of character, without the detrimental bonus of being a bitch. Airforce, which means military experience, guy probably knows his guns, can train the group, probably resourceful too. And another good friend to Lee.
Vince- he very much reminds me of Lee, I bet those two would get along well. Another strong survivor for the group.
Molly- good at fighting, fast, agile, resourceful- a must have in the apocalypse.
Vernon- because having an actual doctor who specializes in healing humans (not veterinarians, as opposed to Rick's and Lee's groups) is a huge advantage.
Stephanie- 'cause she's hawt. A group needs some more quality tail, right?
And that's about it for the list of people I would like to live (or die) through the apocalypse with.
Honorable mentions: people I considered, but ultimately did not include
Clementine: Yes, I love Clementine as much as the other players, but if I had absolute freedom in building my group, that group would have no kids. Regardless of how you look at it, kids who can't yet pull their own weight are a liability. I understand this may make me sound like Crawford, but the difference is, I would never advocate throwing out kids who are already in the group. Nor would I leave one for dead if we encountered him. But just for starters, while forming the group, if I had an absolute choice? No kids.
Lilly: while her military background is sure to come in handy, her power-hungry persona is not. The way I set up my group, it looks to have enough strong figures so that no one would become a total authoritarian leader. And that is something I'd like to avoid.
Larry: sure, having an ex-military all-muscle guy would be great, but his heart condition puts everyone else at risk, as demonstrated in the game. So no, sorry, Larry, you're out.
Nate: I absolutely loved the guy in the game and I think we might be pretty good buddies, but ultimately, he doesn't strike me as a team player. The group would probably have to sleep with one eye open while having Nate around, due to his unpredictable nature. Something I'd rather avoid.

Danny seems tough.
Because Danny, you know...helps people? Selflessly? Justin has far more of survivalist mentality. Hmm. This just got a lot more interesting.
Tell me, what's your opinion on Roman?
I still do not understand I know he is a bit stupid but he is a bad ass and that is why I picked him.

So yeah, that's it. That's my perfect group.
How could I forget Mark!
Thank you, Velociraptorious.
