If either Lilly or Kenny will be PC (fun pics)

edited August 2013 in The Walking Dead
I've been thinking, if either Lilly or Kenny will be the PC in next season, what kind of action/dialogue choices player would have. I made two pics, (with absolute humour of course :D) which both show, what situations and choices would look like, while playing as either Lilly or Kenny.

What would you pick in both situations? :D

Lilly:

Kenny:

PS. If you're a fan of either side, don't take these too seriously, will ya? ;)

4 for Lily and 3 for Kenny also Kenny should have an option where he can use his stache or say something about the stache!

Got me ridiculously excited for Kenny as the potential PC....

Also I would pick for Kenny throw a salt. What's that you say imaginary person I forgot to mention Lilly? I don't CARE!

3 For Lilly and 2 for Kenny, that is pretty much what it would be like.

I actually had in mind to put something about the stache but decided to leave it. thestalkinghead's ones would've fitted well actually! :D

All to true, Kenny would intimidate someone with the stache.

It'd actually be really interesting to play through an entire Walking Dead season with these as your only options. No matter what the situation is. Every dialogue option, every moral dilemma, all you would be able to do is choose between these 4 moves. It'd be like if the Walking Dead operated on Pokemon's game engine.

Go Kenny I choose you! *Kenny uses stache attack on Lilly, it's super effective, Lilly has been knocked out.*

    Pokemon reference good one ;)

I know, I remember having a whole collection of Pokemon games around my house somewhere, but yes I remember the fundamentals.

Speaking of which the next Pokémon games are coming out a month :D

You best be joking, yet Another major game release this year, what is it with 2013 having so many games.
  • edited August 2013
Hahah, now I'll wait for a Larry version, where you choose between three variances of insults for the majority of the game.

Lol this so much this! :D

    Larry's would be:

    You, shut the fuck up!
I got charm coming out of my ass!
    [Be belligerent towards literally everyone]
    [Have a heart attack]

Lol have a whole "Have a Heart Attack" playthrough where thats the only option you pick, the characters be like for F**ksake he is after having his fifth heart attack!

At some point you would be faking it just to piss someone off, at that point it's going to be like Sanford and son, but with Larry.
  • edited August 2013
We need that for every character!
  • edited August 2013
It would be fun for sometime, I buy that for a dollar.

I actually had in mind to make Clementine version as well due to reason she's alive as well. But came to conclusion, I got pretty good ones out of these two already.

And of course, it would've been hard time finding her being offensive. :o

This thread gave me an idea, so I did some of my own experimenting. My Photoshop skills suck, so please be gentle. I made a mock-up of what I'd think a PC Kenny could look like in season 2.

There would be subtle, but visible physical changes, such as the skin around Kenny's eyes looking red and exhausted (from many sleepless nights dwelling on Duck and Katjaa). The beloved moustache would remain, but now a thicker stubble is surrounding it, due to lack of personal care. In other words, he would look like a broken man who's just clawed his way out of Hell.

Personality-wise, Kenny is now purposeless and aimless, a more malleable character that the player can direct to his/her preference. The selfish, vindictive S.O.B. who nursed a grudge against Lee (if you chose to side with Lilly in the meat locker) was killed in the alley/building. This Kenny is a man who's just started on the long, long road to redemption or damnation.

I like it,I think eventually kenny will grow a full beard because for some reason in media thats the best way to show that a man has become depressed/broken. :D

I like it, and that path to redemption or damnation could be a choice, which would be nice.
  • edited August 2013
Really? I thought he ALREADY got his redemption in Episode 5. Still, nice idea though. Even though I'd prefer an entirely new character, playing as that Kenny wouldn't be terrible.
  • edited August 2013
I just wanna see him alive in season 2 is that too much to ask? Yeah it probably is.
  • edited August 2013
Haha, sums up their characters in a nutshell. :D

    yell!

    throw a salt lick!

i hate to say it. but it's all true.

Depends if you're talking about the Ben or Christa scenario. The Ben scenario still doesn't make a lick of sense to me.
  • edited August 2013
It's all subjective as to what you think redemption is, I believe he gets redeemed in both scenes but to each his own.
  • edited August 2013
    Christa Scenario
His Redemtpion in this Case is more active. Going down to get something knowing that noone will be there to get him back. He thought about another family instead of his own in this case.

    Ben
Ben's case is more simply put. Kenny didn't as much redeem as he started to think about something else,. he didn't want him to die alone or be eaten alive. so he stayed with and stopped ben from possibly zombifying.
  • edited August 2013
I like to think he tried to save him, but when he knew he could not he shot him, it could have been other things but that is how I see it, and it might not be as heroic as the Christa scene, but it's is still redeeming.

There wasn't enough time to pull Ben off that beam before the zombies got to him, but there was enough time to put a bullet in Ben's head before hauling ass out of that alley. Ben wouldn't have died alone, nor would he have been eaten alive.

But instead, Kenny stays, because...er...he wants to die? Even if one scene ago, he said THIS to Lee and the others?

"You don't just end it cause it's hard. You stick it out, and you help the folks you care about."

So Kenny is allowing himself to be devoured because... It just doesn't add up. Kenny had to be delusional. It's the only way that scene makes any kind of sense to me.
  • edited August 2013
It is just how you look at it, but I do agree that the Christa scene is more heroic and maybe more redeeming, seeing Kenny forgive his mortal enemy instead of murder him, doing something Lilly or his past self could never do, is redemption enough I say.

I kind of considered both to be redemption, but I got the Christa version. The Ben version is up for debate, I guess. That can be taken in many ways.

It can be taken in so many ways, I think it was also redemption and not suicide but I respect others opinions in the matter.
