Possible Story Choices? Thread 1 "Lilly's RV Theft"

Ive been speculating a few loose ends. Why did lilly steal the rv no matter what? Why would lee even have the option to side with ben for almost no reason? well, ive come up with ideas that i think could have been possible story elements but were scrapped. This is my new and first series i like to call "Possible Story Choices"


In episode 3. If you choose to keep Lilly with you she steals the RV. Even if you've been 100% on her side and told her youd go with her and bring clementine, she still steals it. I think that the game originally had you go get clementine, and when you returned, Lilly would explain that she has so much guilt for killing someone under little to no evidence, that she doesnt want to be a part of the group anymore. Then she asks you for your pity to give her the RV. The early lilly would NEVER do that, but after her father is killed and she takes a life like that, she would be broken. This would give her justification for taking the rv instead of seeming like a heartless bitch.

    I believe she does that, because she is a backstabbing bitch, nothing more and nothing less.

    All I can think of is that she took the RV for fear of her own life. She was the group's prisoner and was likely to be executed later. Keeping her in the group only fueled her paranoia even more than leaving her alone on the road to be cut off from the group.

    Of course, what she did was wrong, but it wasn't really a smart move to take an already paranoid woman to be taken in as a prisoner and not expect her to go even more crazy.

    Well Considering Kenny chooses to leave Lilly if you remain silent...
    Lilly would probably have been executed or left behind anyway if Kenny had his choice and to be honest no one else was really left to defend Lilly...

    All of the Survivors were either 'Team Kenny' (Katjja, Duck) , Ben (who was the traitor) and Lee (who just lost his Love interest/best friend)...
    No one would have defended her and both Kenny and Ben say they would have left her...
