Disappointed with the reveal of Clem's parents ?

So are any of you disappointed with the reveal of Clem's parents ?
I am a bit disappointed , i expected a plot twist where Clementine's mom is alive but her dad is dead , and when Campman arrived in Savannah , he kidnapped Diana so than he can replace Tess with her and make a family , and then when Lee is reunited with Clem , they find Diana and then Lee has to get Clem and her mom out of Savannah .
I hope in season 2 , when Kenny's fate is going to be revealed , I hope it won't be the same with Clem's parents by seeing him as a walker because if so than might aswell just show Lilly , Molly , Omid , Christa and their baby as walkers and being Roman's new watch dogs so than we won't have to worry about them anymore and focus on the season 2 cast and Clem .
So were you guys disappointed with the reveal of Clem's parents ?

    Not really no, I expected them to be dead or walkers, for a long time, it wasn't that much of a surprise but was upsetting. It was odd how they stayed together for 3 months as walkers :p Ed was attacked by 'some crazy guy' which was probably an infected and when he turned probably bit Diana. Through I hoped they were alive, I wasn't disappointed.

    I expected something along these lines, since they weren't major characters. I didn't feel too much at seeing them, probably because I was more focused on getting Clem to safety at that moment. Of course, if they do the same with somebody from Season 1, I'll be mad. You can't do that to major characters like Kenny, Lilly, Christa or anyone like that IMO.

    No i think seeing them as anything else but walkers would have been waaaaay to cliche.

    During my playthrough I wondered that, just like Ben with his family, Clementine would never find out where her parents are or what happened to them.

    What would hurt more? Seeing your parents as walkers, or never seeing them again?

    Probably seeing them as walkers, If you never see them again at least there is some chance of them being alive

    True, I would say never seeing them would hurt more in the long run, but there was a lot of pain as just the sight of them being walkers.

    I didn't expect to find them at all. It was an unexpected gut punch on top of everything else.

    I knew they were likely goners once I heard the message. After episode 2 I knew the only way we would see them would be as walkers; Surely by this time they would have tried to get back to Clem if they were still alive (still surprised me though in ep 5)

    I'm not going to say I'm glad Clem saw them but at least it will stop her being tricked about them in the future or trying to fruitlessly find them in the next season, I'm pretty glad that storyline has concluded. So to answer I was satisfied with the reveal yes.

    I forgot about them in the haste to get Clem to safety, it was a pretty bad gut punch, and at the worst of times to, I was the best and only way they could have done it.

    Like a few others, I didn't think I'd be seeing Diana and Ed at all. So, that was like a rotten cherry atop a shit sundae.

    Yeah . It would been interesting meeting these folks ( alive ) and i think they would be the most good honest people on the planet if they managed to create this little ray of hope . :)

    I would have loved it if Dianna was alive and was with the cancer recovery group, before they fucked us that is. For a brief moment I thought it could have been possible when Lee opened the door and saw Vernon's people in the morgue, since the camera avoided focusing on all the characters. I would have preferred for her to have been with them than being a walker near the hotel. It didn't make sense for her to have stayed there 3 months later from when she left the message for Sandra, but hey, at least Clem got closure I guess.

    ... If you expected it, then it was never going to work. That's the only thing I dislike about The Last of Us. The predictability. the only time I was caught off guard was when a certain character didn't die.

    I was smiling... only because I felt happy that something that didn't even happen could affect me in such a way... It's strange.
