The Wolf Among Us?

Looks like Telltale's released the teaser trailer for their next Point and Click series, The Wolf Among Us, based on Bill Willingham's Fable comics which tell the story of exiles from a darkened folklore and fairy tales living in New York city.

The teaser trailer shows an art style similar to The Walking Dead's (They are both comics) but with the difference of very saturated colours.

So what do you say?

    Best things about this:

    1. I didn't know about this game until I saw Cry's video "The Walking Dead: Episode 3 [P1]" in my subscriptions. In this case I'll be part of the group from the start.

    2. I had to watch Cry's series to understand what was going on in Episode 3. I spoiled myself the first three Episodes. Not this time!

    Although I'm not a reader of the comics, I read a short description. You play as Bigby Wolf, a.k.a. The Big Bad Wolf (And werewolf) who is a police/detective of some sort and tries to keep the identities of the other fairy and folktale characters under wraps.

    Yeah more people in this part of the forum need to visit the TWAU section... It's sort of empty over there...

    I am looking forward to the game, I'm glad they are making something other than TWD...they needed to take a break.

    Definitely looking forward for The Wolf Among Us. I don't know anything about Fables, but then I didn't know anything about The Walking Dead, and look how that worked out. :)

    Well, I have absolutely no knowledge about the world the game's in, but I love the decision making mechanics, and the game is made by Telltale... I just might give it a shot, depending on the price and on how much money I have available at the time.

    So is this basically a 5 episode game just like other telltale games or is it shorter like Boneville or whatever

    I'm starting to read fables now, to get myself psyched for the impending release!

    Can't wait to pick it up.

    I'm interested, and I hope it has similar mechanics to the walking dead. In fact, I think I'm gonna do a bit of research.

    I'd rather have The Wolf Among Us than season 2 of TWD.

    Been a huge fan of Fables.

    Wait are there more than one book? I read the one titled Fables: Legends in Exile.

    Legends in Exile is the first out of 19 (so far) volumes.

    Yeah, the first volume does a really good job of setting up the plot, as well as the characters of Bigby and Snow White.

    The game is supposed to have a premise of a murder mystery, which is also what the first volume is about. I'd check it out.

    I might check some out on Comixology but with all the crap iv been buying I may just go into the game with out reading any.

    Well I have been a long term fan of Telltale and was willing to give a Zombie game a go because they made it...

    I am really looking forward to The Wolf Among Us and it seems a lot more Telltale and really fits the more adventure game genre...
    I'm Hoping it will be a bit reminiscent of Sam and Max...
    I mean you are a detective...
    Who is a werewolf (Dog)...
    This game really fits the genre well and will hopefully be Telltale's next big hit

    Voted for I'll wait though I'm actually waiting until I have less unplayed games on my Steam list. I bought far too much in the Steam sale.
